Lunch Break

The bell rang indicating the 4th class was over and it's time for lunch.Everybody rushed outside to see the bulletin board excited to see their assigned partners for their project work.But Riki,Jihye and Serene stayed in their classroom for few minutes waiting the crowd to disperse so they can check the bulletin board peacefully.

"I think we should go now.The crowd seems to be getting disperse"Jihye said to her friends.They nodded and went to check the bulletin board.They tried finding their class and looked up where their name was.Serene gasped seeing her partners

Takayma Riki
Serene Sim
Min Kyurin
So Junghwan

She eyed Riki and Jihye who seems to be happy being in the same group she looked down feeling god knows what.Riki looked at the girl patting her back"Hey-"She cutted him"I don't even know them.What if they don't like me?What if they bully me Riki just like how the students from my previous school did?"She said as they started walking back to their class as they left their phones in bag so they wanted to grab their phone and head to Cafeteria

"Don't worry girl you got us behind you.If they talk shits about you or bullies you just tell us ok?"Jihye said giving her a reassuring smile

"Yeah not everyone is like bitches from your old school"Riki said shoving his hands into his pocket"Yeah you're right"Serene said
They fell into silence and just went to grab their phone.They grabbed their phone and was about to go but a girl much shorter than Serene approached her whom she found cute

"Hey I'm Kyurin!You're Serene right?"Kyurin said with an energetic smile.Feeling a positive vibe from her she smiled back at her"Yes I'm Serene"She said"We're partners for the project so it will be better if we know more about each other.You wanna sit with us?"She asked Serene politely meanwhile Serene just looked at Riki and Jihye for answers"Of course if its fine with you.Are you guys ok with it if your friend cone with me?"Kyurin asked looking at Riki cutely which Jihye found really annoying so she just looked away"Yeah sure.Take her"Riki said smilingly Jihye git annoyed so she started walking away from them"Ji!Wait for me!Gotta go girls!And Kyurin take care of her"He said and ran behind Jihye

"Let's go Serene!"She said dragging her to the Cafeteria

"The boys are coming soon let's wait for them a bit"Kyurin said looking at Serene"Ok"She simply said and looked outside the window"So Serene tell me more about yourself"Kyurin said excitedly "Ah nothing special about me.I guess you already know I'm Australian and I was born in Brisbane,Unlike my brother
I'm not really good at academics or sports but I love singing"Serene said and smiled at her"You have a brother?"Kyurin asked curiously "Yeah, Jake don't you know him?"Serene asked confusingly

"OMG!Jake?!Jake Sim?!He's your brother?!!"She pointed out at Jake who was sitting few tables away from them"Um yeah"Serene laughed"No wonder why you're always with them-"She said but pauses in middle"Wait that means Selena Sim is ypur mother?!!!"Kyurin asked "Y-yeah"She laughed nervously"OMG! I'm a big fan of her!!"She said just then two heavenly looking guys came and sat beside the girls"Hey ladies!"The guy beside Kyurin said"Hey boys!This is Serene!"Kyurin exclaimed "Oh hey Serene.I'm Takayma Riki but just call me Taki"The guy who was sitting in front of her beside Kyurin said"I'm So Junghwan"The guy sitting beside her spoke"Uh hello"She said smiling nervously

She widened her eyes at her thoughts and mentally slapped herself.
"Serene-ah do you know our Junghwanie wanted to be friends with you.But he just couldn't"Kyurin said with a teasing smile"Ah really Junghwan?You should've approached me first"Serene smiled"Ah he was too shy to talk to you"Taki teased"Hey no!It's not like that!You are always with your friends so I didn't"Junghwan said scratching the back of his neck"Hmm.I see well I hope we can be good friends!"Serene said clasping her hands together"Yeah"The other three said in unison and laughed.

After chit-chatting for a bit Serene asked"Do you guys have any idea for the project?"Kyurin looked at Taki and Junghwan before saying"Nope.If you have any go ahead"Kyurin said and Serene nodded and started explaining that how should do it.While Taki and Kyurin listened to her attentively Junghwan just rested his head on the table and admired the girl's beauty.He was so much struck by her beauty that he started to daydream about her instead of listening to her.

"Umm...So what do you think about it Junghwan?"After explaining Serene asked the boy beside her who was too busy daydreaming about her.Kyurin chuckled lowly seeing her friend while Taki smacked Junghwan's head lightly and said"Dummy she's asking you something"Junghwan groaned and lightly rubbed his head"Uh I zoned out a bit.What were you asking?"He asked"I was asking what do you think about my idea?"She repeated"If they're fine with it then I'm fine with it too"Junghwan said looking at his two friends who nodded at him"Then I'm fine with it too"He said

"Ok then!Tomorrow after school around 7:00 pm at my house!Ok?"Serene asked"We're fine with it but we don't know your address"Taki added"Don't worry Mr. Takayma I'll send you guys my address"Serene chuckled"You know what?Something's wrong with my phone"Junghwan suddenly spoke"Why what happened?"Kyurin asked"It doesn't have Serene's phone number"He grinned looking at the girl beside him who laughed after listening to him

"God you should've asked me straightforwardly.I would've gave it to you anyway cause I've to send you guys my address"Serene said handing Junghwan his phone after her number in his phone"You know what Serene this guy just have a huge stock of pickup lines so he never says anything straightforwardly"Taki said annoyingly rolling his eyes"Hey!That's not true!"Junghwan protested"Yes it is!"Taki said but still Junghwan kept protesting but Taki ignored his blabbering.

"Anyways girls what do you wanna eat?"Taki asked"Rice and Bulgogi.Thank you!"Kyurin said"Cheesecake would be fine"Serene said"Only cheesecake?Are you sure?"Junghwan asked leaning closer"Yeah I don't like to have heavy food for lunch"Serene smiled"Fine then.We'll get it wait here"Junghwan said winking and went to take the food with Taki wrapping his arm around his shoulder while Serene just smiled adoring the twos friendship.
