Ricky pounds through puddles in the pouring rain before stopping to seek shelter under a convenience store awning.
"I just… I just hate her right now,"

Ricky lys in John's bed, reading a bedtime story from the big purple book in his hands.
"So I have a pretty good shot then?"

John squirms under the covers, grinning as he puts the teddy bear to his face.
"What's up with you, buddy?"

While Amy is talking to her baby belly, Ricky swipes some icing off the top of a piece of cake in her hands and smears it over her face; licking his fingers with a chuckle
"So are you two like a thing?"

Leaning over John's bed, Amy puts her lips to Ricky's neck before moving to his ear. Ricky twitches, smirking against the pillow.
"I said no!"

Amy stands, angered, with tears in her eyes

Ricky's hand jiggles the brass knob to John's door.
