It was a day like any other, David was doing a rescue gig for a buyer that was worried for his daughter, it was a warehouse full of punks with a big guy guarding the vault where they kept the hostages and Julio was tagging along as well.

Once the crew walked in the front door, you were wearing your ghost cyberwear and was testing out a new update you made. You centered yourself in the middle of the room, gathering up enough energy to short circuit anyone within a large radius.

  "All clear G" Kiwi said through the call and on cue, you fired your new gadget.

Luckily it worked wonderfully, but messed up your ghost wear for a while before you could use it again, but if was enough to get Rebecca shooting in every direction possible.

While the 3 kept busy shooting up everybody, you noticed a turret in the corner starting to activate and quickly made you way to it and disarmed it.

After finishing off the entrance, everyone made their way to the back room where they kept the hostages, but guarding it was a large man with insane mods, barely looking like a person

"What the- is that even a human?" Julio said shaking, pointing his gun at him, but David was fast to lower his weapon and handle it with his Sandavistan.

It was almost too quick to catch the whole scene, before everyone knew, the guy was on the floor with his brains scattered everywhere.

"The room behind you has the hostage, her and others, all friendly" kiwi said through call.

"On it" Julio said, speeding towards the door recklessly. Luckily, in the corner of the wall you were able to see a lazer poking from the right lower corner, most likely indicating a trap, and you hurried to disarm it before Julio stepped on it.

"JULIO WAIT!" You screamed and reached a metal piece on the wall closes to you that thankfully was enough to send a shock to the little machine and disarmed a mere second before Julio stepped on it.

"What?" He stopped in his tracks, right where the trap was, looking back at your panicked face not quite understanding what was happening.

"You fucking moron, don't just burst into places without checking for traps" you said with a pissed off tone, getting up close to him and punching him in the face, putting a significant amount of strength hopefully knocking some sense into him.

"Ow you bitch! sorry" he said holding his face as you put a hand over your chest trying to calm yourself down.

Once securing the hostage safely, David called the buyer to address the job being done and sent her to her father while letting the others go.

The crew went to their usual hang out spot at the gas station, having another little party with other runners, but you didn't tag along. Earlier that day you had received a message from an old associate of Maine, asking to speak with you at afterlife.

Once arriving, a bodyguard escorted you to one of the private rooms where usually mafia bosses and other crime lords reserved for doing business or drug deals or whatever. But once entering the room you relaxed immediately noticing who it was.

"Oh hey, it's been a while!" You say casually to Faraday ignoring the serious faces the people around him gave you.

"It sure has, I hope your still as skilled as always?" He asked making conversation.
