Time went by relatively quickly. Lucy started taking out David to regular runs, all whilst he was dragged into jobs with the whole crew. Not that he minded.

You would often join Lucy to those runs, that was before David started tagging along. You figured David could benefit from the one on one jogs, but she was quite upset once you were slowly being replaced by the boy.

She cherished your runs together, that would often be used as a bonding exercise between you two as it would remind the both of you of the old but dark times of net running below Arasaka.

You'd both usually talk about day to day things, or rant about your troubles to each other. Sometimes even silence was peaceful, being able to just have the company.

For some reason thought, Maine thought to invite you more to the gigs too, saying something about you being so distant all the time and that having you around made everything so much easier, flattering you into joining their gigs even though you thought your presence wasn't much needed.

It started with him teaching David how to use a gun. You too learned how to use one with Maine and now often carried a machine pistol with you just in case, thanks to the big guy who insisted that you'd never know when you'd need one.

Even though Maine introduced guns to David, it was Becca that actually tough him how to aim, no one could deny the girl was good at shooting and wouldn't go anywhere without at least two pistols on her.

David would also learn combat with Dorio, which you got dragged along unfortunately, the reason being that you weren't much of a fighter, depending mostly on your gun and hacking.

Dorio would teach David fighting styles while using you as a test subject, making the whole experience a pain in the ass, but often making you both fight each other, luckily you weren't as bad as him, making you the winner most of the time.

After a lot of jobs, the gang would also often celebrate at afterlife when finished, slowly but surely building up David's resistance to alcohol. As they would intoxicate the kid, you would hang with Lucy to smoke while watching the poor thing suffer in the hands of your friends. After all you weren't much of a party freak unlike the others who wouldn't waste an opportunity do get hammered.

However you didn't deny the invite to Lizzie's bar, were people would often go for cyber dances, you figured you would tag along when Pilar mentioned to Falco about taking the boy to become a man. Needless to say they were shocked.

You met with them at the front of the bar on a Friday night, one of the most crowded days to go so the 2 men could show David how actually packed the place got. You laughed at their shocked faces after seeing you actually showed up, thinking maybe you had been joking at first.

You didn't really see the reason to why come in such a busy day, maybe they wanted to prove it was as popular place or maybe to show the boy it wasn't something for him to be shy about.

You all shown IDs to the bouncer, who was a lady carrying a base ball bat, nervous if she would allow the boy in with the fake ID they got him, but little did they know she could give less of a fuck about letting the minor in as long as he paid his part and didn't harass anyone.

You all went through the door, instantly being met with a large party hall full of places to sit spread out, and some small round tables were 2 people could sit to drink, probably for the ones that weren't there for cyber dances. The place had loud music blasting and was dark with the exception of some neon lights besides some dim lighting.

All the way at the back was a bar and a DJ stage on the side, as you all got in, an employees asked for what kind of services you would all be having for the day. Pilar requested 3 dances, as the lady started giving the options of the girls that were available tonight.
