❛ HOUSTON'S FINEST. ❜

A camera continuously goes off as Toni moves in various poses all while keeping her eyes trained on the camera. After weeks of talking, and going through different concepts and layouts the shoot for Houston's Finest was finally here.

The album was finally finished, recording-wise. She and Tha Dogg Pound lay down their final versions for the final song called We Don't Need It. And while recording that she made sure to keep her distance from Dre ever since the whole thing with Michel'le. Even though Toni didn't know the full details of what went down that day based on how Michel'le reacted whenever she mentioned Dre's name it told her everything she needed to know.

Even though he didn't even realize how distant she was becoming towards him, he certainly did feel the change in their energy from what it had been before. Business wise she was somewhat cool with him but as a friend, not at all. As a result, it took all of her willpower to not confront him about what had happened, but because she wanted to respect Michel'le, she did not want to spout her personal matters in front of him and make things worse if they were already bad.

Her only advice to Michel'le was to leave as soon as possible before it escalated to the point of no return.

As a newbie to photo shoots, she was quite nervous at first, but she went along with what the photographer told her to do despite her nervousness. Although her expectations were high, she did her best and did exactly what the photographer told her to do.

As her photographer, Ken Nahoum was her choice and one of the things that made him easy to get in touch with was the fact that he was an in-house photographer at Death Row. Toni came up to him with an idea in mind, and he was able to execute it perfectly as described in his proposal.

"That's it, keep that pose." Toni did just as she told resting her hands on the hoodie for her jacket. The whole theme of the album cover was pink with a little bit of Southern charm to it. Hair slicked back in a swoop ponytail with a few baby hairs curled, it remained hidden under the fuzzy hood she wore. Wearing a pink paisley halter top that showed off her slim stomach as well as her twinkling belly piercing, she also had matching shorts with pink ribbons tied on the side stitching to match with a few rings and a diamond chain as accessories. Standing behind a white background, Toni continued to pose her large hoop earrings with her name encrusted in gold cursive gleamed underneath the incandescent light.

Her makeup wasn't something over the top it being a rose pink eyeshadow, with a matching dark lip liner that had a light pink hue to it. Coi was the one who made the look happen, all she asked was what Toni had in mind for the look. Toni gave her input and Coi made it happen in less than a week.

From the corner of Toni's eyes, she could feel Suge's towering aura resting in the corner but paid no mind to it as she just focused on what Ken told her to do. From what she could tell and notice over time he had this large intimidation that seemed to pour over the staff mainly. However, she wasn't scared of him but still had respect for him giving her a chance.

Megan was also there as well, her no-nonsense attitude towards things made the shoot move swiftly as she made sure that everything met the standards that it needed to, such as booking the studio on time, and how long they were gonna be using it.

Who Am I? (What's My Name?) by Snoop Dogg played from the studio's speakers. Although she was supposed to be professional as possible she couldn't help but move her hips a little to the beat. It was a rather infectious track to listen to hence why it was blowing up the charts and clubs.

"Alright, that was great now let's take fifteen!" Ken takes some more pictures before going on break. With a thumbs up, Toni swiftly gets off the set and makes her way over to her makeup chair.

With a sigh, Toni sits down and immediately takes a sip of her energy drink. Just a couple more pictures and she was finished for the day.

Coi soon walks over with a smile, greeting Toni she looks at the cup before looking at Toni once more "Tired?"

With a small nod, she answers "Yeah but I'll pull through it." Hard work takes you places, Toni couldn't just complain about doing the littlest things because then people would think she's being lazy and for her to prove herself she must work twice as hard.

"After this, try to get at least four hours of sleep." Coi worriedly advised. Although they were supposed to naturally only have a business relationship, Coi couldn't help but worry as she noticed that Toni seemed to work ten times harder than the average person.

To make it in this industry you have to work hard or else people would just walk all over you. That's how it is.

Soon after the smell of a rather musky smell of cigar wafted around her. It smelt of cigars and the only person that Toni knew smoked cigars was Suge. Looking at her reflection she sees the tall burly man standing behind her.

"Talk to me." She sensed that the older man had some things on his mind so instead of just keeping it quiet Toni just wanted to hear what he needed to say.

"I ain't got much to say. You doing your part and looking good. The only thing you gotta work on is being less nervous." After he'd complimented and critiqued her, Toni made some mental notes on what she needed to do for her to appear better.

"Thanks." She breathes out with a smile, taking more sips of her energy drink "I'll take note of that."

Eventually, the photographer calls her back onto the set. With a deep breath escaping her lips and the shaking off her nerves Toni proceeded to walk back. She got this.

And she soon started believing it because the rest of the photoshoot flew past like a breeze. Deep down inside she could feel that her dreams were coming true.
