Liam untied them and they rubbed their wrists before Orrin continued to speak

"So where was I? Oh! I would like to make a deal-"

"SHUT UP! WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO WORK WITH YOU!? FUCK OFF!"

I took a step closer, but Orrin raised at finger behind his back, telling me to stay still, he could handle this easily, and I knew it.

Suddenly, the guy stopped at his tracks on the air, before kneeling before my father, who used his ability on him: dominion.

Our other guests looked stunned at what just happened, they stood up a little. And the red haired spoke up

"He stopped!?" By the tone in his voice I could tell he was scared for his life, just what Orrin wanted...

"I despise obnoxious brats like you... who constantly interrupt and not listen" well, he was clearly angry now.

I saw the other two stand up suddenly. Ok he's angry now, he's lost his patience.

The girl: Rein stood up behind the obnoxious guy and held his hands behind his back as he struggled with freeing off her grip.

He was startled to say the least. "Hey, what the-?! Let go of me!" He was clearly scared, but he was trying not to show it.

The red hair came in front of him and grabbed his neck with both hands.
I rolled my eyes, knowing the show Orrin was about to do.

He tried to scream, but the strong grip was closing his air channels, the only sound his throat let go was some weird noises.

He resisted for as long as he could, but after some time, a "crack" was heard, and he fell to the ground, in that moment I knew he was dead.

I wasn't unfamiliar to murders, or people dying, it had been a part of my life for a really long time now, and that guy had already seen too much, and he wasn't joining spectre so he was no good to be kept alive. It's a shame, he could've been a good Addition to it.

Orrin shut down the dominion, and the guys finally were free. They looked astonished at their friend lying dead on the floor.

Rein finally broke the silence "is he... dead?" Her tone was truly mortified

"D-did I just kill-?" They were both stupefied

Orrin was tired of their gibberish, I could tell "Now that I have your attention... Let's discuss our terms"

"W-we will do whatever you want, just please PLEASE don't kill us" they were truly scared for their lives, just what he wanted...

"Good. Then under that terms, you will join spectre as agent fields" what a nice term to say assassin.

"No questions, do we agree?" He had now a grin on his face, he was pleased.

"YES, y-yes, no questions, just please don't kill us" Rein seemed convinced, huh, the things fear can do.

"Great, I'll have Apolo sent you to the training centre" he was now smiling

Apolo then appeared behind them, took their hands and disappeared.

"Should I take care of him sir?" Liam signaled to the dead body on the floor

"No, leave him here, Apolo will take him back to the extraction center. Now let's just wait for him, he should be here any minute-"

Just like that, he appeared again, and took us back to Orrin's office after a blink.
We were back on the HQ and he left again.

"23, you're dismissed. Phantom, stay please." He demanded

Liam left the room, leaving me and Orrin alone.

"Why so stiff, Ally? Feel at home" seems like Orrin is back to my dad again. Sometimes u forget he's also my father. Even though I'm used to him switching from dad to boss, it's a bit weird every time.

I started wandering about the room, watching the framed pictures on his office, which he didn't have much, just two. A picture of my mother, a portrait of the blonde woman in a wine colored dress, her grey eyes shining with that spark you could see in every picture of hers.

And the second picture: a photo of me, when I was about a year old-ish in his shoulders with the usual resting face I've always had, he was smiling as he tried to look up at his small daughter, in a pink Romper as he held to my little arms for support.

I smiled at the memory, as hard as my father Can be, he has a soft side (a really diminute one, but he has one)

"What happened, did you want to tell me something?" I asked putting down the picture, still looking at the Shelves arround the room.

"How've you been lately? We haven't had our monthly dinner, I'm afraid I've had too much work, but I'll promise to make a space for you" he was sitting now, looking at me, with a smile, one of those unusual sincere smiles he rarely let out.

"I've been good, you know, getting stronger, training... and training and more training..." I picked up a little rugged paper that was on the shelf: it was a bad "portrait" of my dad that I did when I was 6, In the left corner it read on bad handwriting and spelling: love you dad. I let out a grin, I never thought he'd keep it.

My dad let out a chuckle, "you're always training Ally" "isn't that a good thing?" I asked. "It is, just... don't overwork yourself, we don't want to end up in the hospital wing again do we?"

"Negative, we don't. But I've been improving my resistance" I defended myself "the procedures are going well, and I think my body is starting to take all that new energy, I don't need to absorb that much anymore and I haven't fainted in 3 months so..."

"That's great kid, I'm glad you're doing better" I didn't know what to think, but I felt that he was being sincere.
