Okay so you guys remember when Mani asked Kayla out an a date? I didn't even though I'm the author😂. I just realized I didn't wrote about their date so I decided to do it in this chapter.
This will only be only be about Kayla and Marcelo and how they got comfortable around each other.
Kayla POV
If I said being nervous was an understatement or a no so I laugh to myself. When I told my aunt and everyone else I was going on a date they were full of excitement. Lexi and I even went shopping together.
4:57pm
Mani said he would pick me up 5pm and mi not even ready yet. "A you that mi gyal" Brandy said after she did my hair and makeup I'm not really a makeup person so I asked her to do it light so I would look more natural "thank you" I said smiling.
I checked the time just fi see seh a 5:00 same time me see the Mark x pull up outside "lord Jesus me not even ready yet" I panicked trying to get ready "girl yuh nuh ready yet?" Lexi asked walking in the room
"Nosa" I reply talking my clothes outside the closest "you bathe?"

I slip into my tight sky blue dress and hall on me slippers I made sure to bring a little bag I brought from Shein me put in me lip-gloss and a little change of money incase anything. I looked at my self in the mirror to make sure I look good so when me done now me walk outside the room all eyes were on me.
"Then watch me niece" aunty said jolly I smiled at her "she look pretty nuh true Marcelo?" I look over at Mani he was already looking at me from head to toe "yea man" he said standing up without taking his eyes off me making me blush
"Umm big man mek sure you bring back mi sister before 12" Akeem said in a deep voice causing everyone to laugh "alright" Mani replied chuckling.
"yuh ready?" he asked I nod he took my hand guiding us outside "enjoy yuh self" I heard Lexi said from behind me.
"So where we going?" I asked Mani after about fifteen minutes of driving

The car came to a stop mi not even did realize cause wi were having such a vibe he got out the car and came round and open the door fi mi "thank you" I said when him tek mi hand
We went inside the restaurant it looked beautiful and expensive too

I thought for sec "what's your full name?" I asked "seriously" he asked laughing " Marcelo Mani Dixon" he said
"Oh so yuh middle name a Mani" he nod "What you want to be when yuh grow up?" he ask "I don't know yet" I said not wanting to talk about that anymore

I asked curious he looks at me with a serious stare "I work for my father he is a business man who owns business across Jamaica one of his business is a cart mart he recently open one in St. Elizabeth and I was the manager in Spanish Town at that branch so he transferred me here to manage some stuff and get the workers in line" he said
"So him a manager and him come from Spanish Town okay I'm getting somewhere" before he could ask me a question the waiter came with our food we both thanked the waiter "enjoy" she smiles walked away
We talked about a lot of stuff and hit different topics and who knew he was so good on debating after the dinner we went to a club.
Marcelo POV

"Yuh know him did seh him ago be late tonight though" Jamal said taking a swing at him drink
"Weird" I said to myself "see him yah too nuh" Keno said vaping after talking to everyone else Jordan came over weh we deh "Kayla" he said "wah gwaan?" she replied smiling.

11:00pm
I checked the time and realize I should bring Kayla home "yuh ready" I whisper in her hear "yeah" she replies we told everyone we were leaving and they all said there goodbyes dem rate Kayla u fuck, she and everybody get along even Keno weh no talk she talk to.
Me pull up Infront a har aunty house Kayla was sleeping so I texted Lexi to open the front door I lift her up and bring her to her room while she was still sleeping "she sleep dead"
she looks so pretty and peaceful I kissed her forehead
