Her father was dead. That was it. She no longer had any parents. Deep down, she knew it would happen some day. What she was really wondering right now, was why the demon had a massive red aura? Demons don't normally do that, as far as she knew. It almost seemed... enraged.
She saw a sword of one of the fallen slayers by her feet. She shakily picked it up, and got into a weak stance to try to be ready to fight. It was futile, but it was a brave act. She need not worry about it though, as a section of roofing that the demon had destroyed the support for caved in, and the demon was blasted by sunlight.
She watched as the demon disappeared, slowly fading into dust. She had never seen this before, and was slightly confused at what had just happened. She was exhausted though, so she shoved the sword into the ground, and started looking around for anyone who was still alive.
The slayers that were supposed to kill it? Nope, they're dead as heck. The maids and butlers that are meant to protect her father with their life? Well, they tried to do their job. Didn't work though. Her father, the chef, and everyone else she could think of. That was, until she got to her brother's room. At first, she didn't see him. Then she spotted the familiar blue strand of hair sticking out from under his bed. His very large, comfortable bed. God, they were rich. But she spotted him, and said, "Hey Luke, It's alright to come out now," in a gentle, caring voice. With tears streaming down his eyes, he looked up to his sister, and then got up to go hug her. He didn't let go of her for a while.

Later on, after they had collected their father's money from his safe and packed a bag of necessities each, they hit the road. You can't stay in a nearly entirely destroyed house, after all. Sky comforted her brother until he fell asleep in her arms. She was surprisingly strong for someone of her stature, looking very slim and frail. She still had the Nichirin sword she had picked up from one of the fallen slayers, and had placed it on her hip should she need it. She walked through the forest towards where she had last seen a town outside of the manor she lived at.

Eventually she came upon the town. Her brother had begun to wake up, but began violently coughing and said "It tastes so *cough* bad! Why do I *cough* taste blood *cough*?"
After taking a drink of water, he seemed to calm down. He kept making a grossed out face, as they moved into the village.
It was weirdly quiet... there seemed to be overgrown lawns, vines, destroyed buildings, and decaying structures everywhere. They got to one building in particular, which looked to be in the best condition, and opened the door. Inside they saw the same horrific sight as back home. Here was an entire family, mangled and torn apart, evidently by a demon. Sky quickly took in the situation in their home, and made her way to their kitchen to stock on cans of food and bottled water if possible. The kitchen had more than she could carry, and somehow still had power as well, so she and her brother had a small meal before heading off. She had been taught to cook by the maids for years, after all.
They stayed the night there, being sure to avoid the decaying bodies as much as possible. Sky decided to swing around the Katana, which she was very clumsy with. After a couple hours of trying to get a feel for it, she was tired and went inside to fetch her brother from the storybooks he had found. They slept next to each other, sharing warmth and comfort, and drifted off peacefully...

Five years later
Sky and Luke had been traveling for the entirety of their five years. Sky had become immensely skilled with the sword, and Luke had began inventing things. Currently he was lugging along a large tower style shield that could block everything but the strongest of attacks, on the level of Anti-Tank destruction. He also had a sword, but the Nichirin sword he had found was broken, so he made a dagger of sorts from it. They had not encountered anyone of note the entire time, just a few towns here and there, with the only interesting thing being that the manor they lived in being fully unknown to anyone. In fact, there was no record that they had ever even been alive, even though they had clearly visited big cities for a majority of their lives. They also noted that the technology of the cities they visited was far inferior to what they were used to, the cars were older, the buildings were smaller, they didn't see any planes, the fashion was old school... all of this did not add up.
Luke tried to tell his sister that they had either gone to another world or had gone back in time, but she didn't believe it. There was no way, right?
However, their luck changed today. Or rather, tonight. That night, they heard sounds of a clash, and ran to check it out. Upon entering the scene, they saw an intense battle. A pink haired woman with green tips of her hair, who had very large... assets... and was wearing a very revealing outfit, alongside a black haired slim man wearing a black and white Haori, were wielding what appeared to be curved Nichirin swords. Opposing them seemed to be a very pretty long black-haired woman, wearing underwear and having cloth scarves coming from her body, alongside a disturbing-looking green-haired individual who was wielding dark red sickles that seemed to be flowing like a liquid.
The black haired man seemed to notice them immediately and shouted, "Oh, Greaaaaaaat. Look Mitsuri, more demons!"
Mitsuri got a confused look and said to him, "No, Obanai-Senpai, they don't have anything to do with Him. I can tell by the connections to their heart, they only have each other!"
Obanai shook his head and shouted to Sky and Luke, "If you guys are against the demons, get in here and help us!"

Sky immediately tensed and leaped, leaving Luke shocked. Sky was by no means as good as any of the four currently fighting. However, she was also not bad enough to just be shoved aside. She jumped in next to Obanai, and began blocking strikes for him and using openings he gave her. She fought like she had done it many times before.
(A/N: Sky has three latent abilities, and we are about to see the first two work in conjunction with each other. The last one will come later)
As the battle progressed, Sky got fiercer, faster, stronger, and smarter. Her eyes were literally glowing in their purple color, as she could see every single small movement made on the battlefield, and react as though it was slow motion. She was also mimicking the sword motions that Obanai was making, as well as the hooking style of her opponent.
After about twenty minutes of this going on, she had taken over most of the combat against Gyutaro, the brother to Daki, both of whom were the Upper 6 ranked demon. Once it was apparent he was no longer needed, he helped Mitsuri to fight Daki. During this, Sky had begun wreaking havoc on Gyutaro. She was hooking and stabbing and swinging in a fashion that seemed Wyrmish (pre-evolution to a dragon) in nature, but things took the greatest turn when she witnessed Gyutaro use all of his blood demon arts in order to stop her. She was still holding up, but she certainly felt the venom kicking in. Little did she know it would not be able to kill her, and more be like a cold for her being a Hanyou (half-demon).
All of a sudden, she had won. She didn't know how, but Gyutaro had tried to dodge backwards away from her, only to get his head temporarily chopped off by a flying blood sickle. He gasped as he realized the trouble he was in. He immediately had his body grab his head, and then get Daki, who was pissed she was slightly outmatched, and bolted off. The upper ranks ran scared, not of the hashira they had encountered before, but of the new threat that was existent. However, Sky remembered something she had never experienced, and threw her blade at them. The blade glowed as it spun, and eventually plunged itself through Daki's eye. The demons may not have fallen there, but they would not leave unscathed.
All of a sudden, she dropped to the ground, unconscious from exertion.

With the Upper 6 siblings
The two siblings had retreated to the entertainment district once again. However, For some reason Daki couldn't heal her eye. The would wasn't deep, only deep enough to damage the visual interpretation part of the brain a little bit, so Daki was disoriented. Not only has she never really been hurt other than getting burned at the stake, she has also never sustained a wound for very long. It was annoying. For some reason, whatever that girl had done to make her sword glow was detrimental to demons.
Gyutaro had just returned, heavily bruised after giving Muzan his report. When asked he simply said, "I don't wanna talk about it, now Shut up," in his squealy voice.

Origin Dimension
With Muzan Kibutsuji, the original...
Muzan was furious. He had come so close to getting that power back, the one from his former Lower 2. Kiri had refused to eat at some point, noting that she had broken the curse and didn't want to deal with him anymore. She just wanted to live in peace with her daughter, but he still needed her to fulfill the prophecy. Now he had to hope that her daughter would grow the same abilities as her mother, otherwise everything would be ruined.
There was one problem, though. He could not find her. Nobody could. She and her brother disappeared off the face of the planet a few years ago, presumably from the accursed dimension hopper, but there was now nothing he could do about it. He would simply have to wait for her to come to him.

Chapter End

Hey, hopefully this story turns out to be good content! I will be upscaling a lot of character's power in order to match the new ideas brought about, but arc 1 is all about the original Kimetsu No Yaiba world! When it ends though, we may have some interesting happenings...
