"Mother," Ney'irie said. She really wished her mother hadn't said that. "Death!?" They all exclaimed in unison. Tears started to form in Omega's eyes. "No, that can't happen," she said before rushing out. "Omega!" Tech called after her. The three ran after her. Ney'irie turned to her mother, shrugged, and ran after the others.

When she caught up with them, they were looking around. "Where is Omega?" Ney'irie asked. "We do not know," Tech answered. Ney'irie hissed in frustration. She looked around and strained her ears. She twitched her ear when she heard a familiar voice say, "You can't kill Hunter."

Ney'irie turned to Tech. "I found her," she said. Tech looked at her. "Where is she?" He asked. Ney'irie ran through through the crowd, Tech, Echo, and Wrecker following close behind.

They found Omega, standing in front of Ney'irie's father. "Please, don't hurt Hunter," she begged. "Omega," Echo said, his tone serious. Omega turned to face him, her face stained with tears. "But Echo-" She started, but Echo cut her off. "Over here," he said. Omega looked at Ole'ka before trudging over to Echo.

Ney'irie put a hand on Omega's shoulder. "Don't worry Omega, I'll try to ensure nothing bad happens to Hunter," she said. Omega looked at her, hope filled her eyes. "Really?" she questioned. Ney'irie nodded. Omega embraced her in a tight hug. "Thank you Ney'irie," she said. Ney'irie hesitated before placing a hand on Omega's shoulder.

Omega backed away as Ney'irie walked over to her father.

"Pater, quid possum loqui tibi?" (Father, can I talk to you about something) she asked. "Scilicet Ney'irie," (Of course Ney'irie) he answered. The two walked out of ear shot of the others.

"Quid vis loqui?" He asked. "De interfectore Mela'nae," (It is regarding Mela'nae's killer) she said. "Et quid de eo?" (And what about him) Ole'ka asked. "Ne eum occidas. Si facitis, amici, praesertim puella, numquam nobis dimittetis," (Do not kill him. If you do, his friends, especially the little girl, will never forgive us) Ney'irie answered. Ole'ka looked at his daughter.

"Occidit unum ex nostris. puniendus est," (He killed one of our people. He must be punished) he said. "Intelligo. Iustus non occides. Nolumus mortem plura afferre. Gaia non vis hoc fieri," (I understand. Just don't kill him. We do not want to bring more death. Gaia would not want this) she said.

Ole'ka thought for awhile before saying, "Recte, sed graviter punietur." (Very well, but he will be severely punished) Ney'irie bowed her head. "Gratias tibi, pater," (Thank you, father) she said. She walked away towards the others.

Ney'irie saw the others waiting for her. "So, is Hunter going to be okay?" Omega asked. Ney'irie nodded. "Yes, he will just be punished," Ney'irie said. Omega smiled before turning to Tech. "You hear that Tech? Hunter's going to be ok!" She exclaimed. "Yes, that is very good news," he said. Ney'irie smiled. "Why do you three always keep your head gear on?" She asked the three.

They hesitated before lifting of their helmets. Echo was very pale, with little circle on the side of his head. Wrecker had a scar on the right side of his head, and a blind eye. Tech had yellow goggles on, and his hair was kind of curly. "It is good to see your faces," Ney'irie said. They all smiled. "Now, if you are going to stay here, let me show you around," she said, leading them around. While they followed her, what her mother said wouldn't leave her mind.
