"No, no, no. You could have never done this," Jarrod comes to my defence.

"You were too scared of him. Of us," Ralph interluded which made me chuckle.

A few seconds of silence hit all of us as they tried to believe what I said.

"Ruel..." Mathew connected the dots, making me proudly acknowledge Chase's criminal behaviour.

My smile only made them even madder. Mathew came forward with a slap right across my face.

"You're going to pay for this slap, Mathew. Count down your time," I relaxed back onto the chair, knowing Chase was nearby.

"It's only another moment we have you untied with our cocks filling your mouth," Jarrod unbelted his pants whilst the other untied me.

I was thrown to the floor and fear had taken over my body. Sliding back on the cold floor, Jarrod knelt down, unzipping himself with a torturous smile.

"Who's going to save you from this, Liya? The psychopathic billionaire?" he mocked with a disgusting lick over his bottom lip, staring at my breasts.

A few moments of silence come between all of us. Slowly, a smile widens across my face to answer his question.

"He's right behind you, you moron," my head arched forward, whispering those words to Jarrod.

Bam, bam. Two gunshots had hit right at the back of his head making him fall to the ground beside me, dead. Mathew and Ralph turn to look around.

"The only cock filling her mouth is mine," the words unhesitant left his mouth, making me feel something between my thighs.

Chase pointed his gun at Mathew whilst Ralph took his out and pointed it at me.

"If you want her alive you better put that gun down, Ruel," Ralph smartly played getting so close.

He pulls me to my feet to stand straight, keeping the gun to my head. Chase's body enters fear. An impossible sight. His body tensed seeing the gun held to my forehead so closely.

Mathew took the chance to take his gun out and hold it to Chase. My body came across the shock, seeing the gun held at Chase. Mathew was going to shoot him. I knew he was.

"Put that gun down and get to your knees," Ralph ordered, tightening his grip on my arm.

"Don't you dare, Chase!" I yelled seeing him give in for me so easily.

My heart pounded so hard against my chest that I could nearly die. I watch him place the gun down on the floor and hold his hands up.

"Let her go," he gritted between his teeth with an unforgiving death stare.

Ralph chuckles, taking another look at me. His eyes were full of a disgusting lure. Bile rises up to my throat but all I can think of right now is Chase.

Ralph looked to Mathew and they communicated with their eyes. Mathew was going to pull the trigger in a few seconds and then they would have me watch him die slowly in front of my eyes.

The thought of losing Chase could alone bring me to death. My eyes twitched left and right with fear. I had already lost Luka, I couldn't lose Chase too. With one nod by Mathew, I spoke up.

"No!" I yelled, kneeing Ralph between his legs.

Grabbing the gun out of his hands, I pulled the trigger holding it to Mathew. My eyes shut drastically and tears flowed out as not even a second later a second trigger was pulled.

But not by my gun...

Had I missed? The room was dead quiet. My heart shook so hard, not wanting to open my eyes to another empty and painful reality.

"Strawberry," his soothing voice eased my body.

My eyes flung open and he was on his feet with his gun in his hand. Ralph beside me was the one shot in the head. The gun drops out of my hands that shook with what I had just done.

Instantly, I ran across the room to Chase, wrapping my arms around him so tightly and bursting into tears.

"Oh my God," I breathed hysterically against his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

"Liya, are you okay?" he pulls me apart and starts checking my body.

"Yes, yes I am," I cried hard, digging my nails into his arm.

I was only okay because he was standing here alive in front of me. My eyes pinched in with tears and his hands cuffed my face softly until my breathing was evened.

"I'm here, with you. It's finally over," he convinced to which I nodded yes.

They were all gone now. Once in for all. I looked back to Mathew's body which pooled in blood underneath his head. I had killed him. I can't believe I had killed him.

"Let's get out of here," Chase spoke, looking at the discomfort their bodies brought me.

With one arm around my shoulder, he guided me out of the basement and then the building. As we approached the entrance, he took out his lighter. Holding it out to the huge curtain, he lets it set on fire.

"Should have burned these fuckers the day I had burnt David," he frowned under his breath for even giving them the chance to take me away from him again.

My mind was so focused on the emotions I had felt in those fifteen seconds. The emotions of losing Chase. Of feeling a pain greater than Luka's loss.

An emotion so strong that it made me lose all senses into committing a murder to save him. An emotion so strong that regret had no place to take in. My heart pounded easily, looking at his worried face for me.

"God, Liya," were the only words that escaped his mouth as he finally took me into his arms.

The sound of his heart right against my ear whilst my head laid against his chest. Only letting mine get deeper. My arms moved up and hugged him back.

I didn't lose him. You didn't lose him, Liya. He's here.
