The White Lights pt.2

*Dan's pov

I opened my eyes, shutting them immediately after. It was so bright. Me think that if I open my eyes, I would be blind but of course that wouldn't happen but it was still a possibility. Me practically prying my eyes open to see some lights, almost like I was looking at a ceiling.
I opened my eyes, shut them, doing the same process over and over again until I was comfortable with the brightness. Me turning over, I see Pj sitting in a chair. I tried to talk but all that came out was a raspy croak that was inaudible. Doctors were yelling things that I couldn't make out. I realized that where I was,
Was a hospital.
I thought and thought
Im alive
IM ALIVE
I wanted to scream and shout with joy but I obviously couldn't, I was hooked up to so many machines and it was mind boggling just thinking about it. The doctor said something to me
"In a couple more minutes Daniel"
I wanted to jump and shout the exact words
"OMG THANK YOU HOLY FUCK YOU ARE AMAZING" But again, I couldnt. The only response I could give was a simple, painful nod.
