It was any afternoon of her monotonous life, and Elizabeth was walking to the French Quarter of New Orleans, a village near the city where she had lived for the past 150 years. He didn't go very often, but those rare times he went to a bar called Rousseau's.
When she came in she sat on one of the many empty chairs near the counter. Sophie Deveraux was waiting for her at the counter. << Hello, what can I get you? >> said sour the light-skinned, dark-haired girl << A glass of bourbon please>> << Come right away>> she said and immediately turned to take the bottle and a glass. << Good morning sunshine>> asked a girl who sat next to Elizabeth << Evie>> smiled at her << How are you? >> asked the curly brown-haired girl << Not well. I did not sleep today. I'm happy to see you, I would have come to see you>> she said sipping her bourbon << I don't understand why you want to stay here with us. Vincent and I like your company>> << I never liked this city. It fells spooky and old...and whatever goes through your head>> Eva raised an eyebrow << Really? ... you mind>> << Maybe>> he said drinking another sip of alcohol. << Would you like to come home? Let's take a tour of the city. >> << I don't think it is the moment..>> Elizabeth didn't finish talking about Eva stealing the words from her right away <<Vincent will be happy to see you>> << We're going to bother your husband for a while. But then I'm leaving. But I don't understand why you don't come to me at least once. Always use the excuse of the coven. You can't always use this card. It is not fair>> he said finishing in bourbon in a sip then leaving the money on the counter and then walking out << you should see the city at night>> << No, thank you but I don't want to see it>> << However you can not always use the fact that here reminds you something>> said Eva smiling. << I never said that>> <<ever briskly. I look at this place with anguished melancholy>> <<If you say so Sherlock>>
Get to Eva and Vincent's house.
<< Vincent Griffin I'm back>> yelled Elizabeth. At one point Vincent came across the house << I thought I heard something>> Elizabeth smiled at Vincent's sight and hugged him. << I missed you>> << Even you stupid survivor>> while the two greeted each other Eva looked at them smiling << How are you Vin? >> << We're doing it>>
The three of them sat on the lounge chairs. At one point Eva remembered something she had to tell Izzie and immediately looked at Elizabeth talking to her husband sitting next to her. Elizabeth looked at her strangely << What? >> << I'll be right back to show you something>> the girl walked away for a moment while being followed by the looks of the other two. After a while Eva came back with some paperwork in her hand. << Do you know what you asked me months ago? >> << Yes. found something? >> she handed Elizabeth what she had in her hand. Vincent looked at her unaware of what they were talking about << What are you talking about? >> << < Apparently your friend or whatever he is dead or not. He likes to leave his tracks>> said Eva ignoring her husband's question << You're sure it's him ? Because it could be anyone. You're not the first to give me such vague information and there are chances he's dead>> she nodded << She only attacks at night. All of these go on for a long time. But only now they are frequent. All of them are passed off in the newspaper for a stupid animal attack. If it is not a vampire I wonder what it could be. Plus it's the town you mentioned a long time ago >> Eva was interrupted by her husband << Can someone explain? >> the two raised their eyes from the map where Eva was drawing the line with her finger << Years ago I got acquainted with a person I have been looking for a long time but I couldn't find and there might be a chance that your wife found her. >> << who is it?> << a vampire>> << a vampire? >> <<Apparently killing bodies in Mystic Falls>> said Eva bursting into the explanation. Elizabeth reflected for a second. << I remember when I was with him, he mentioned that he had a past life in that city. I could check it out. I'm pretty useless here anyway and I come once in a while. I don't think it's far>> << Useless? Make a great coffee instead>> Elizabeth looked at him tilting her head << Other than that? >> << You are the only one in your species. You should preserve yourself rather than get killed by a vampire you haven't seen in years. Then the question arises to me: why are you looking for him? He might be dead and then you'd go about nowhere >> << was a friend. Maybe I just want to find out if he's alive or not and if he was because he never sought me out >> << What makes you think he want to kill myself? >> << He hasn't seen you in years surely will have forgotten you. He will kill you. Your smell can be heard from miles away for them you're hot-blooded><< I wonder how you have so many beliefs in your life>> ironically asked << Sorry? >> asked Eva << You're her only certainty>> she said addressing her friend smiling << You'll see>> << Hopefully you're not right Vin>> << I hope so too>>
