Damian's pov

I'm looking at the manga currently and I feel Anya tapping my shoulder as I look toward her seeing that she had a super excited look on her face

"EEK LOOK THEY HAVE THE NEW VOLUME OF SPY WARS!" she whisper shouts to me clutching the 17th volume of spy wars in her hand while violently shaking me

"Would you stop that" I whisper back trying not to gain any attention from passers-by

Although it doesn't work because I can clearly hear people giggling

"Awh what a cute couple you two are!" The waiter says coming up to us

"We are not a couple!" Words pour out of my mouth quickly...although I wish we were...WAIT WHAT AM I EVEN THINKING...

I glace at anya who is making a super shocked face...what is she even shocked by....the waiter calling us a couple? Eh whatever

"Oops sorry haha you just gave off such an impression to me and I assumed.   Your order has arrived at your table. It'll get cold if you don't head there as soon as possible, enjoy your meal!" the waiter says smiling

"Oh alright thats fine, thank you"

Anya taps my shoulder again "Syon why are you so formal?"

"What do you mean" I look at her puzzled on where that question came from "also would you stop tapping my shoulder you racoon" it's actually cute though that she wants my attention...ARGH WHYY DO I THINK LIKE THIS

"Well you're kinda mean to me but with others you're nice with manners and everything!" She pouts

Well....actually since I've known her for so long and I've just teased her from the beginning so I guess I'm just used to acting this way toward her..although....I did accept this dorm situation because I realised I wanted to be nicer to her I wanted her to think of me as someone she can rely on and trust i guess somewhat of a friend.. like she is with becky..so why am I acting this way...oh shit she's staring at me

"Uhm...I guess because you're younger than me?"

"Syon boy is acting weird...."  she says with a slight shade of pink coloring her cheeks and widened eyes, smiling

"Says the one who looks like a tomato right now!" I reply chuckling at her flushed face...why is it though.....I didn't say anything that would cause someone to blush...she's weird.. "uhm anyways let's go eat..our food will become cold"

"Last one there's a rotten egggggg!!!!" She says skipping off to the table

Heh...shes such a child sometimes...I find myself smiling at her silly little acts again...

After their meal

"Uff I'm too full!!!" Anya exclaimed holding her stomach

"I'm surprised how all that fit in your stomach...I mean how many people can eat 1 plate of omu rice 2 servings of sushi a chocolate-peanut slice of cake and 2 mojito's in one sitting" I say with a small grin

"Would you stoppp ittt I'm a growing girl! And stop smirking.." she whines looking a bit drowsy

"You look sleepy...let's head back to our dorm"

"Yesh pleaseee" she gets up from her seat and walks slouching toward the door..

I grab her bag and rush after her pulling out money from my pocket and quickly paying leaving a large tip...as she waits outside I notice a strange shady looking older guy coming up to her and grabbing her shoulders..he was holding a bag of some sort

I sprint outside and yank her away..holding her close to me..

"BACK OFF CREEP!"

"Oh ho ho don't get so riled up boy..What're you gonna do about it cry to your mama" he mocks

The next thing I recall is him lying unconscious and the bag falling on the ground as the contents in it shattered and something began leaking probably wine Anya stood there shocked silently watching it unfold that I even had to pull her back when the bottles smashed on the floor

...I guess I was too blinded by rage but it was....all over...........her......

So sorry for the late chapter!! I was super busy with school and life in general...this wasn't a long chapter but I felt as if I should release it because of the time gap...anyway I do hope you enjoyed and please let me know what you think!!
