"Demon dogs!" As the door behind them began to close, Fushiguro swiftly summoned a spectral white dog, its ethereal form materializing before the entrance sealed shut. [Name] couldn't help but admire the creature, resisting the urge to reach out and pet it. The knowledge that they were on the brink of facing the potential threat of a special-grade curse held their curiosity at bay. Nevertheless, they made a mental note to ask Fushiguro about the possibility of interacting with the shadow animal in a more safe environment.

"So cute!" Itadori shared [Name]'s sentiment as he knelt down to pet the shadow dog, which seemed to relish the attention. "Who's a good boy? You are! Such a good boy. We're counting on you, okay?" Itadori's affectionate words gained a content response from the shadow canine.

[Name] couldn't help but feel a pang of envy as they watched Itadori's interaction with the divine dog. The white dog's fur appeared incredibly soft, and the desire to know how it felt beneath their touch grew stronger with every passing moment.

As the group ventured deeper into the building, they were taken aback by how vastly different the layout is when described during the mission briefing.

"What's the deal with this place...?" Kugisaki's voice carried a note of suspicion, her brows furrowing as she surveyed the unfamiliar surroundings.

"I have no idea," [Name] responded, their gaze scanning the eerie interior. The building's atmosphere resembled something out of a horror movie, complete with a labyrinth of interlocking steel pipes that crisscrossed in a chaotic pattern.

"I thought this was supposed to be a two-story dorm, right?" Itadori voiced his growing unease, though he was fully aware that none of his companions had the answers he sought. "What's happening here?"

[Name] sensed the palpable tension in the air, their fingers instinctively reaching for one of their celestial keys. Anxiety gnawed at them as the unexpected turn of events raised their guard considerably.

As apprehension gripped the group, Kugisaki tried to reassure them, though her own voice wavered with uncertainty. "C-Calm down! It's a maisonette." Her words lacked confidence, but [Name] quietly placed their hand on hers, offering silent comfort. She didn't say anything in response but squeezed their hand back, offering a small, reassuring smile. Between her and Fushiguro, the two new sorcerers learned that the group is in an innate domain which [Name] filed in their mind for later. However, the domain is incomplete, but as they were looking around they noticed the entrance the group came in.

"I don't want to alarm anyone... but-" [Name] began slowly, pointing towards the area where the group had entered. To their dismay, there were only pipes, a spider web of pipes, and no door in sight. The expressions on everyone's faces mirrored their own, a shared sense of fear and unease settling in.

Kugisaki's cry of fear pierced the tense atmosphere. "What do we do?!" she exclaimed, her trembling hand pointing frantically towards the maze of pipes. [Name] instinctively rubbed her arm, offering a small measure of comfort. Panic began to grip both Kugisaki and Itadori as they grappled with the unfolding crisis. [Name] couldn't blame them; they were feeling the weight of unease themselves.

Fushiguro stepped in to quell their rising panic. "It'll be fine. My dog remembers the scent of the entrance," he reassured the anxious duo. [Name] let out a sigh of relief; at least, the group wasn't entirely lost in this unknown but dangerous environment.

"Oh my!" Itadori and Kugisaki couldn't contain their excitement as the pair pampered the dog, which seemed to revel in the attention, its tail wagging with increasing enthusiasm. "Good boy! Have some jerky! Have all the jerky you want!" Finally, [Name] succumbed to the adorable scene, showering the dog with affectionate pats. Fushiguro couldn't help but admire their compassionate nature (and how they look. No one needs to know that.)
