There's a knock at the door.

BRIONNA-(o.s) Dave are you here?

Yarni quickly sits up.

YARNI- What is she doing here?

Dave has a nervous laugh.

DAVE- See...this is gonna be one of those times that when we look back on our relationship and we are gonna laugh.

Yarni glares at him.

DAVE- (nervous) I mean like really laugh.

YARNI- you better turn into Kevin Hart in the next five seconds. Five four-

DAVE- (quickly) I went to break up with her but she told me her grandmother had just died.

YARNI- So?

DAVE- So? Yarni come on you can't dump a person who grandmother just died. I felt bad-

YARNI- imagine how I feel now....just when I thought- you know what it doesn't matter.

This hits Dave hard.

DAVE- Yarni...just when you thought what? Talk to me.

Yarni stands up. Dave looks at her feeling bad and then goes over to the door.

DAVE- Bri can I call you later I'm really tired?

BRIONNA- you're not even gonna open the door?

DAVE- I'm sorry. But I promise I'll call you tomorrow.

BRIONNA- um okay?

Dave looks at Yarni.

YARNI- I don't want to hear it....and whatever you think this relationship is...it's not.

DAVE- Yarni.

Yarni grabs her jacket and leaves.

INT. JIMMY'S PLACE - DAY

Tevin is smiling as Dave sulks ashamed.

TEVIN- Bro your first caught up session....I'm so proud.
