Ana: "Layla... that's a pretty name."

She kept walking towards me, slowly, and suddenly, I had a bad feeling. What was happening? Why is she walking towards me..?

Layla: "Hey! Welcome to Wolsey Hall, what's your name?"

Bad feeling? I barely know her.

It was a bit comforting knowing that there were so many kind people in this school

Ana: "Oh.. my name's Ana... I'm guessing you must be Layla?"

Layla: "Yeah! Although I usually present myself as Allison, but I prefer being called Layla."

Allison? I wonder why... I'll just call her Layla, she seems more passionate about that name.

Ana: "Well... Layla, see you around."

Layla: "See ya!"

She's so kind, and she probably likes Taylor Swift, from what I can see.

After finishing my lunch, I walked my way to Math class

Teacher: "Welcome, everyone, we have a new student here today, her name is?"

Ana: "Ana, my name is Ana."

Teacher: "It is a great pleasure to have you here, I'm Ms. Catherine, great to meet you. Now please take a seat."

I took a seat and listened to Ms. Catherine

Ms. Catherine: "Let's get started, everyone open up your books at page 49. Good. Let's review the example exercises now. The value of X is 8. The value of Z is 10. Now if you do 78 divided by Z plus X, how much do you get?"

This took everyone a while, but we soon got the question

Everyone (- Ms. Catherine): "15.8"

Random student: "Wrong, it's 14.8"

Ms. Catherine: "Actually, it's 15.8, so, correct."

Some student: "Bro got humbled real quick"

Ms. Catherine: "Quiet, boy."

I almost burst out laughing, but decided to keep it to myself

Ms. Catherine continued explaing

Ana: "-Whispering to some student- That was actually kinda funny"

Some student: "I know right?"

Ana: "Yeah, I'm Ana by the way."

Some student: "Hey, I'm Nimish"

Ana: "Nice."

Suddenly, footsteps could be heard

Ana: "Hm? Who's coming so late? Please not be the principal, it's my first day."

Nimish: "Can you not, Brazilian? It's not funny."

I'm not even Brazilian-

Some girl ran over to the classroom

Ms. Catherine: "...and that makes the answer 678-"

Girl: "I'm late, my bad."

Ms. Catherine looked at the girl with anger

The girl looked... familiar and... interesting, not in the rude way... But she seemed to really not care about the fact she was... 40 MINUTES LATE?!

Ms. Catherine: "Now, why is it that you always come late?"
