Yokai Watch x Reader

"Don't worry. I'm gonna befriend the doodoo out of this one." Nate states. "No one wants an evil blabber mouth Messin' around with their lives!" He punches the air. "This won't end well." Me and Whisper say. "Last time I saw him like this was during the toilet accident." I shrug. Whisper glances over at me. Nate steps infront of Katie and her squad. "Katie!" He shouts. "Tattletale!"

"Oh! I forgot to tell you! Nate made a big stinky poop in the bathroom at school!" Katie exposes. Nate falls to the ground, defeated. 'She's trying to distract Nate from herself,' I nod to myself. Nate slowly lifts himself off the ground. "Katie...I know this is going to sound strange, but there's a yokai...-" Nate begins. "Tattletale!" The tiny yokai says before hopping off of Katie chin. Tattletale uses her long arms to pounce off the ground. I stare it disbelief. 'I wonder how it would look I she were to try and run with her legs...'

"Yokai? What's a yokai?" Katie asks. "Uh- nothing! Your hair looks beautiful!" I say before running after Tattletale. I stop at a corner as Whisper and Nate catch up. "There she is!" I hear Nate say beside me. I nod, running after he once more. "You're not getting away from me!" Nate shouts. Nates never been much of a runner, so I doubt he'll actually catch her. "Agreed! You'll have to stop her before she turns this whole town into a hot bed of exposed secrets and uncovered truths! Such honesty could be...devastating! You need to make friends with her right away!" Whisper says. Sometimes I feel like he just wants to be friends with them.

"Who cares about the whole town!" I turn to him. 'What?' "All I care about is...the stupid story going around about...About the bathroom incident thats ruining my stinking life!" He finishes. I roll my eyes. Of course it's just about him. Just then, a school girl on her bike rolled by, giggling. Nates face turns red. "Uh oh..." Whisper looks at him. "Tattletale wait!" Nate starts, going after her once more. I groan, following him. Tattletale hops into a barbershop, jumping through the window and onto the barbers chin. "Tattletale!"

"Oops. I really butchered this kids hair." The barber says, frowning. "What..?" The kid says, turning to look at him. Me and Nate finally reach the barbershop, running inside. "There she is!" I point out. Just as the final word comes put my mouth, she hops off the man's face and runs away. "Dang it!" I say, running after her AGAIN. As I'm almost out the shop, I hear the barber. "Wow, this looks great!" He compliments. The kid groans. "Don't even! I chuckle.

I follow Tattletale to a nice couple going out on a date. She hops onto the woman. "Tattletale!"

"I really like you buying me free stuff, but your, like, super not my type." She states. Nate huffs, arriving a minute too late. Tattletale jumps off of the woman, bouncing somewhere else. "Not again!" I whine, reaching over and gulping down the lovely couples lemon water before running to catch up with Nate and Whisper.

"Tell us where you hid the money, and we can ask the DA to go easy on you." An investigator asks/states. "I've got nothin' to say." The raggedy old criminal defends. "Confess!" The investigator shouts. "Tattletale!"

"You've got nothin' on me! I buried the money under the football bleachers at the highschool! Section one ten, row one, isle seat twelve!" The criminal man confesses, banging his fist on the table.

Me and Nate run into an investigation room with Whisper following behind. "There she is again!" Nate says, out of breath. Tattletale hops off a man's chin and jumps away. "Tattletale!" "Aw, come on!" I huff out.

We finally corner Tattletale. I inhales a large breath. 'I really need to get out more...' I point at Tattletale. "There's nowhere left to run Tattletale!" I yell.  "Yeah! I'll never forgive you for making Katie spread the story about me in the bathroom! Why'd it have to be Katie?" Nate whines. I roll my eyes. "I'm the laughing stock in school!"
