Save our lights.

-What happened to us, Ceylin? - Ilgaz asked, as he was staring at the shores of the sea. Ceylin didn't answer. Once she got close to the sea, she felt like she was drowning. Maybe not just near the sea. She was drowning everywhere no matter where she went.
-Three years, Ilgaz. How big she must have growned! - smiled Ceylin, and Ilgaz sighed loudly.
-Ceylin...
- You chose her name, remember? The doctors said she would look like you - Ceylin smiled bitterfully and tears were running down her cheeks.
Ceylin had always run away. She still did it. But not this time. She let herself sink in her pain.
-But she rather looked like you. That's why I fell in love with her. Because her eyes were your eyes, her smile was your smile, every piece of her gave me peace, just like you did. But she is not here anymore. Even though you are sitting next to me, I can touch you, I can feel you, you are not here either... Maybe, the sea whelmed both of you from me - Ilgaz looked at Ceylin, asking for just a short glance from her, but Ceylin stared at the sea with glass eyes.
-Mercan did not die. Don't you dare tell me she is dead - said Ceylin, and she looked at the love of her life with almost hatred.
-In our hearts, she didn't die - Ilgaz was begging to Ceylin not to put them under such a struggle, but Ceylin was reckless.
-And as long as hope lives, she is also alive.
-Ceylin...- Ilgaz couldn't finish the sentence, because Ceylin stood up and threw away the blanket.
-You never believe in anything! You never listen to your heart, you just see facts, but the world is so much more than what our eyes can see, Sayin Savcim! - she shouted with tears in her eyes. Ilgaz also stood up and tried to touch her. - Don't touch me! - Ceylin stepped back. - If I could, I would search the whole sea after her, even if it means I would sink! How could you give up on her just like that? How could you kill her memory in your heart? How can you breathe without her? Because I can't! I can't breathe, I can't live, I died when Mercan disappeared from our lives! The only thing that keeps me here is hope and I will not give up until I find something about her! Because...- Ceylin touched her chest violently. - I feel it. I feel her. She is waiting for me. And I will come for her. Now, Sayin Savcim, I have to go. -Ceylin wanted to leave, but Ilgaz grabbed her wrist.

-And me, Ceylin? What about me? Mercan is not the only one who is waiting for you! I died twice, once when Mercan disappeared, and once when you did! - Ilgaz tears were running down his face. - Save both of us! Save Mercan, and save me too! Save yourself! Save all of us from this darkness, because we can heal only together!
