A week later Angel is ready to leave the hospital but she is scared to go back right now.
She couldn't even bare the though of going back to some cheap apartment or a hotel.
Even arriving back at the station she was a nervous reck trying her best to hide it.
She couldn't ask for help, she had no money to spare and sore.
She had a few sleepless night's since returning.
Travis ran threw her mind, claimed her heart in terror once again.
"𝐇𝐞𝐲 𝐀 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩?" Brain smiled while walking into the staff room with 2 cups of coffee and hands her one.
"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐢'𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞" she plasted a smiled.
"𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩?" He questioned, sitting next to her.
She looked down hiding her tired eyes "𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞"
"𝐇𝐦𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫" he chimmed while rubbing her head.
She smiled bigger "𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧"
He laugh alittle "𝐬𝐨𝐨 𝐢 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞.. 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞"
Angel had a shock face and blushed.
"𝐚-𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬!" He nervously said "𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠"
"𝐍𝐨 𝐧𝐨 𝐢 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭" she laughed "𝐈'𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭"
They smiled and held a gaze for a moment.
"𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭! 𝐢'𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞?"
"𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥" she hummed
"𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐢 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭!" He grinned hard
"𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢'𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐰𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐀" He softly said rubbing her head again.
Angel waved goodbye and looked back at the case file.
Her heart fluttered alittle but it was different to how it was towards Dexter.
Angel yawned laying her head onto her arms against the table.
She closed her eyes for a moment till she felt a breath against her neck and froze in fear.
Her breath hinted hard till a voice spoke "𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥"
Her heart jumped as she turned her face to the voice.
"𝐇𝐦.. 𝐃𝐞𝐱?.."
He gived her a scowl "𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐧𝐨𝐰?"
He looked displeased raising his eyebrow.
She lifted her head "𝐩𝐟𝐟𝐭 𝐧𝐨... 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬.. 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭" she laughed nervously.
Dexter heart filled alittle with excitement "𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞?!"
Angel was alittle off with Dexter expression.
He looked happy to scared her?
Odd she thought but pushed it aside.
