"Hey, Loz, watcha drawin'." He asked. Kurloz shrugged but never looked away from his tablet. Tuna reached for the drawing pad and snatched it before Kurloz even realized it was missing; Tuna stared at the picture before blushing furiously. He tossed it back to Kurloz who was trying his hardest not to blush; he rubbed the back of his neck and gathered all his stuff.

"I gotta go." He spoke tersely.

"Kurloz, wait," I shouted; he ignored me and rushed back toward the main building.

"Tuna!" I yelled.

He whimpered and covered his head. "I'm sorry! I didn't think he'd freak out like that." He cried.

I sighed in response. Mituna was the mischievous type, always into trouble or pulling a prank; it was easy for him to forget that not everything is funny to everyone, and more often than not people preferred their space and for their personal items to remain personal.

I flicked his forehead with my index finger and gave him "the eye"

"What was that for?" he questioned indignantly, wiping the spot I previously flicked.

"For being a spaz." I stuck my tongue out and turned my back to him ready to head back into the main building.

"Where are you going?" Tuna asked crossing his arms across his chest.

I turned back to face him and I noticed that Kurloz had left his colored pencils and paint markers behind. I told Mituna that I would be right back and hurried to make sure Kurloz got his art supplies back.

I walked into the main building and made my way up the narrow staircase, took a left at the end of the hall, and headed to the art classroom. Whenever Kurloz wanted solitude, he went to the art class, so I figured he'd be there now. I opened the door slowly and reached into my pocket for the markers and pencils.

"Kurloz you left-" I stopped when I looked up I noticed Meulin seated on Kurloz's lap in a heated makeout session. I dropped everything and looked away.

"Sorry, I'm interrupting. I thought you were alone." my voice cracked as I turned and ran out the door.

"A, wait!" I heard Kurloz shout, but I didn't plan on stopping or turning around anytime soon. I made it to the bottom of the staircase and halted to catch my breath. When I heard footsteps I hid underneath the stairwell and waited. Kurloz ran down the steps frantically and ran his fingers through his hair.

"A! Aubergine!" he yelled. When I didn't respond he ran out the door and toward the court where I left Mituna. I made my way to the back exit and ran towards the school gates. I was done with my classes so there was no point in me staying. Whatever got left behind would just have to stay at school until Monday. Before I could get out of the parking lot Cronus stopped me.

"Leavwin' so soon, doll face?" he asked.

"Yeah, I don't feel good." But it wasn't a lie; I didn't know how to feel right now. I was embarrassed, shocked, confused, heartbroken, and terrified all at once. Why did have to be Meulin of all people?  I couldn't understand it; Meulin had everything but made it her job to harass me every chance she got. I had no idea why she hated me so much.

"I could givwe you a ride home if you vwant?" Cronus offered.

"No thanks, Cro. I just really need a moment." I said looking down.

He nodded and watched me walk toward the gate not protesting my wishes.

"Hey, Cro, don't tell Loz and Tuna where I went, okay?" I asked turning back to look at him. He looked perplexed for a moment but promised not to tell.
