Jungkook was very lucky that he had back then bought a replica of this snowball only because he was jealous that their mother's last gift before she died had gone to Jimin. At the time he felt pathetic that he had done such a thing and had kept such an object for so long but today, he felt like that envy of his had paid off.

"I didn't know that-..what kind of idea that was anyway! I would never have hit you if-"

"Shut up!" Jin interrupted Jimin's words, his nerves having reached their peak with what he was hearing.

"Would you like it if someone for fun tried to break something that has sentimental value to you? Whether or not it was the actual thing matters little at this point and doesn't make your act any better!" Jin put them in their place, letting both sides know that he had no intention of keeping sides in this situation.

"Do you feel proud of your behaviour? Do you think your mother would be happy to see you right now in this mess?" Jin lowered his tone of voice, letting words roll out of his mouth, which left the three younger brothers feeling somewhat bad at the thought.

"Apologize to each other right now and you both better think well of the actions you did today." He continued, and Jimin couldn't help but feel guilty in this one, as he was the one who didn't notice well and interfered in hasty actions.

Silence fell for a few minutes in the room, the boys' eyes on the floor, until Yoongi decided to lighten the situation a bit.

"Okay hyung, no need to take it so seriously. They're adults, I'm sure they realize what mistakes they made. Let's just let them sort it out on their own now, huh?" He put his hand on his eldest's shoulder, knowing that Jin had really gotten mad with Jimin and Taehyung and they all knew that Jin wasn't the kind of person who would hesitate to put them in their place if he thought it was necessary.

"I'm disappointed in all three of you and I'm sure if father was to find out, he would be too." Jin's words had the boys looking at him with wide eyes and breathlessness as no one liked this to happen. None of them wanted to disappoint their father or hurt him in any way.

"...I know it's not easy, I understand, you're not the only one who lost a parent you know, but Jimin, so what if it was really the real thing, it's only an object. Why is it so hard for you to understand that the gift she would want you to keep above all else is love for each other? Do you think your mother would care that the snowball broke or would she care that you smashed each other's faces, like you were enemies? It really is frustrating and I sincerely hope you reflect well on your actions, otherwise, I will not hesitate to put you on the right track. Am I clear?" Jin closed his speech and the three younger brothers bowed their heads, expressing an apology that for the moment was sincerely coming from the depths of their hearts.

Jin gave them one last look before leaving the room. Yoongi followed him, knowing that all of this most likely had weighed on him emotionally as he knew and acknowledged the weight and responsibility Jin carried on his shoulders as well as the feelings he often didn't have the chance to bring to the surface because as the eldest of the family, he always had to be strong for the others.

Jungkook now began to feel awkward in the silence that dominated the room until his eyes met Namjoon, who looked at him with compassion.

"Okay, it doesn't matter whose fault it is. It was just a moment that took a wrong turn. These things happen." Namjoon tried to keep an aura of equality in an attempt to not pressure further either of them emotionally.

"Yeah, whatever you say, the fact that he damaged my face however and God knows how long it will take for me to be able to do a photoshoot because of it, it doesn't change as a fact." Taehyung cast his angry glare at Jimin, who felt even worse at seeing the bluish bruise on the corner of Taehyung's lip that he had caused.

"I didn't know, really-"

"Just take these cuffs off Eleon, I want to be alone." Taehyung interrupted Jimin's attempt to apologize and Eleon simply made his will come true.

Taehyung didn't hesitate to leave the room at once after that, leaving behind a clearly regretful and hurt Jimin, pretty much like Jungkook and Taehyung had hoped at first to get him out of this situation but the truth was that as Jungkook stood there, he couldn't help but catch himself, feeling sorry a little and that's why he left as well, not wanting to regret this actions of his any further.

Namjoon patted Jimin's back lightly for support, not having anything to say for the moment and then decided to leave him alone, making a signal to Eleon to follow him out but she let him go on alone only to turn to Jimin for a moment.

"Don't be fooled, put your feelings aside and see clearly. Whatever their motive was, they did it on purpose and you didn't." She let her thoughts roll unhesitatingly from her lips and then walked out of the room, leaving a confused Jimin behind the door she closed and found an angry Namjoon in the hallway who heard her words.

"Are you trying to further implicate my brothers or is it just me? It's none of your business in this case and I'd appreciate it if you'd stay out of it." He told her, finding Eleon's words as something that would sting someone for further conflict.

"Don't worry. I have no such intention. You can wash your family troubles away with my blessing. Besides, I have my own and I have enough of them." She reassured him before continuing on her way, leaving behind a Namjoon who didn't take long to follow her to the living room where most of them spent the rest of the evening in a monotonous and somewhat heavy atmosphere.
