Why Are We Like This? (Stan x Kyle) (DISCONTINUED)

chapter 1

Kyle's pov

It was January. The first day back at school for the new year. Just one more year until I graduate! I was meeting up with my boyfriend Craig. I mean, I think he's my boyfriend? We've been sneaking around for the past couple months since he's not out yet, so he wants to keep this relationship private. I was just about to text him, when he texted me first.

Craig: cant wait to see u x

Craig: im at the library

Kyle: im on my way! :)

I got to the library, heading towards the back where he usually would be, and walked up to him when I saw him.

"Hey." I smiled.

"Hey." Craig gave me a half smile.

"How was your break?" I asked him.

"It was great," he started, "yours?"

"It was fine, missed you though," I lightly laughed, "you know I-"

I was cut off by Craig quickly pulling me into a kiss.

"You talk too much." He smirked, pulling me into another kiss, but it was short lived as the bell rang, and he immediately pulled away, walking towards the exit.

"Oh, uh, bye." I said.

"Don't forget not to tell anyone about us." Craig told me, leaving me there alone.

He's not out yet Kyle, can't get upset.

I walked to homeroom, looking foward to when I'll see him again. With a lot of new boys coming to our all boy school, some of us had new schedules to try and accomodate. I was one of them. I was pretty smart, so I was placed in a 12th grade class where there was an extra spot.

"So you're Kyle Broflovski?" The teacher asked.

"Yes sir, that's me." I told him.

"I have you right over there, next to Stan Marsh." He told me, motioning over to the corner.

Stan Marsh. I didn't know him personally, but I knew who he was. The captain of the football team, one of the most popular boys at our school. I've never spoken a word to him, until today.

"Hey.." I said, kinda nervously, as I took my seat by him.

"Hey," He gave me a small smile, "Kyle, right?"

"Yeah." I returned the smile.

I didn't even expect him to respond, let alone for him to know who I was. but I guess, everyone knew who I was. Not for a good reason though.

I was the only openly gay guy at my school, and was bullied quite a lot when people first found out. I'm not even sure how it came out, people just somehow knew about it before I could come out myself. That was last school year, and the bullying didn't end completely, but it at least calmed down. It was mostly guys on the football team, but Stan never did any of the bullying. This was the first interaction we've had, maybe he's different.
