The next few days were normal and quiet. Harry's group only really asked for water, or for me to bring them their food, and Harry and I didn't talk. I avoided him I guess, I think he tried to talk to me once or twice, but I just didn't want to talk about our last conversation, or that topic. And my avoiding worked, until he showed up and hour early today.

"Hey, uh...you're early." I stated, mostly confused as to why he was here.

He sighed and looked at me, "I know, but I wanted to play this song for you. I want your opinion, since you like my music, I thought, why not ask a fan."

"Um...okay..."

"Come on." He led me to the recording room.

When we walked in, he gestured towards the couch, hinting for me to sit. So I did. He grabbed the guitar, and sat on the couch across from me.

"It's not done completely yet. We still need to work out some of the background music, but here's the acoustic version." He started playing. (AN: play Matilda and then resume from here).

He picked at the strings on the guitar, it was quiet, soothing; almost like a lullaby.

That is true. There's a reason that This Is Me Trying is my favorite song. I used have "the shiniest wheels and now they're rusted," I've been hurt so many times those "wheels" don't work anymore.

I was silent. I was crying but I was silent. I didn't know what to do. He just hugged me.. At first I was startled, but after that, I hugged him back tightly. He just let me cry in his arms

"Thank you," I said, "thank you for writing that."

He nodded into my shoulder. I didn't realize we had been hugging for a while, until he whispered quietly into my ear, "The others are gonna be here soon."

I nodded and let go of him, wiping my eyes and taking a deep breath.

"Hey," he said, "you know that you can talk to me whenever you want." He tore off a piece of notebook paper and wrote something down, and handed it to me. "Here's my number. Call me whenever. Even at 3am. I'll answer. I promise."

"Thanks Harry." With that, I stood up and went back to my office.
