Annabeth was furious.

Her and Percy were supposed to be going out today for dinner and a movie, the most normal things they could think of.

The problem;

She couldn't find Percy anywhere.

Most of the time, this would've made her worried sick.

Right now, she was ready to rip his head off.

Finally, she found a note on her nightstand telling her to go down to Central Park.

She looked all over the park, ignoring the heavy rainfall, but she still couldn't find him.

Now she really was worried.

She started to head out to get a cab back to camp when she noticed something strange.

The raindrops.

Were they shaped like..

Hearts?

She realized then that the water had been dried from her hair.

Her clothes weren't wet anymore either.

Around her;

The rain still fell, but it was like it couldn't touch her.

She held out her hand and the watery hearts hovered above her skin.

Percy called out from behind her.

He had made a dome of dryness around him.

He sat on a blanket holding a woven picnic basket.

Annabeth stepped inside, too amazed at him to realize she was crying.

"I thought today we were going to try to be normal."

She said.

Percy laughed and kissed her before answering.

"I'm the son of Poseidon," he grinned.

"I don't do normal."
