Ruv and Zane's First Meet

????: Woah! Chill! I'll bring you back home when we're done! Now, why don't we sit down, maybe have a nice cup of tea, and calmly explain what's going on?

Ruv: Fine... [He and ???? sat down] Okay, first question: What are you?

Zane: Look, this may be hard to understand, but I'm Zane, your spirit guide!   

Ruv: My what-now?

Zane: Spirit guide! We go out to find magical heroes known as the Gemstones, and you, my friend, are now one of them!

Ruv: H-Hold up! I'm a magical hero?! Yeah, sorry sir! You seem nice and all, but I think you got the wrong guy!

Zane: Nope! I'm right! You're destined to protect the wrold from great darkness, Ruvyzvat! I've never failed to find the right Amethyst, and this time is not an exception! [A bright purple glow appeared in his hands, and when the light died down, an amethyst hairclip was revealed to Ruv] Ruvyzvat, I now present to you the amethyst gemstone! 

Ruv: T-This is a mistake! T-This is just a prank! T-This isn't real!

Zane: Oh, trust me! It's 100% real! [He flew up to Ruv's height, took of his ushanka, threw it on the ground, and put the amethyst hairclip in Ruv's hair] There! You're almost ready! You just gotta say one thing!

Ruv: Which is?

Zane: "Gemstone magic! Ruvyzvat!" So, just say the words, and you'll be off to save the day!

Ruv: I'm not gonna! I'm not who you're looking for! 

Zane: Oh, believe me! [Singing] You are Amethyst!
And you can do this!
So, when things get tough!
Together, we'll fight through it!

Ruv: [Singing] [Locking Zane in a drawer] You've made a mistake!

Zane: Nope!

Ruv: [Singing] It's clear to see!

Zane: Well, obviously not!

Ruv: [Singing] You need a hero!

Zane: Precisely!

Ruv: [Singing] That is not me!

Zane: [Singing] [He freed himself from the drawer] I love your humility!
I've picked the right Amethyst in you!
But you can be real with me...
Deep down, you know it's true [He blew out a candle, causing the room to go dark and for Zane to light up the room with his magic]

Ruv: [Singing] But why me? I'm nothing special dah!

Zane: [Singing] Wait and see, what you're capable of

Ruv: [Singing] I can't be, saving the world today!

Ruv: [Singing] I'm honestly not!

Zane: [Singing] You don't know 'til you've tried!

Ruv: [Singing] You've honestly got the wrong guy!

Zane: [Singing] And when things get tough!

Ruv: [Singing] I'm havin' a dream!

Zane: [Singing] Just be who you are deep inside!

Ruv: What do you mean?

Zane: Let me break it down: [Rapping] [He started making illusions of different monsters] I've been findin' Amethyst' for thousands of years!
The world always needs one when a threat appears!
So in the darkest hour of our longest night
There's always been an Amethyst to stand up and fight!

The fighting and the spying, becoming best friends!
We'll come this close to dying, then we'll do it all again!
It'll be amazing to see, when you've got these abilities!

Ruv: Uh, what's in it for me?

Zane: [Rapping] I'll tell you what's in it for you!
You can become someone brand new! [All the illusions disappeared as the lighting of the room went back to normal]

Ruv: [Singing] Just leave me alone!
I wanna go home!
I'm not the one that you wanted to lead!
I'm not the person you need... [He was now looking in a mirror]

I'm not Amethyst.
I can't do this.
When things get tough...
I make excuses.

I'm not Amethyst!

Zane: [Singing] I'm about to kick your butt if you don't start to listen!
I'm about all out of patience making your decision.
Things gets tough for everyone; you'll learn to fight it through!
Guess I'm gonna have to decide it for you [Ruv: I'm not Amethyst!
I can't do this.

[The song ends as Ruv had transformed into a different person]

Black Amethyst: [He looked at his hands, noticing something different about himself] Dah? [He looked in the mirror, seeing that he was now a completely different person, causing him to scream]
