What happened?

A few days passed since I last saw him, The last encounter was frightening. I was happy to see him again but he seemed a little off. I couldn't shake the feeling that he was different. No one could see Diluc, it was like I was cursed to see him. Hiding in the shadows, watching me slowly grow.

Sometimes, he'd try to keep conversations with me but halfway he'd disappear when someone entered our room. Since people couldn't see him, they'd think I'd gone insane after their deaths. I wondered if this would be how it ends. Me, all alone with Diluc's ghost haunting me for eternity.

.

It's been a few years since their death. I've taken over the winery with Adeline's and Elzer's help, I've also become the Calvary captain of the Knights of the Favonius. Although I mainly work in the winery. I still see him every day, his whispers and his mutterings never-ending. I could only understand a few.

The Abyss Order and The Fatui.

From what I've heard, The Fatui was behind Fa-Crepus's death. I wanted to go to Sneznaya and kill every single one of them. But, as much as I would want that no one would be there to take care of the winery. I couldn't leave it all to Adeline and Elzer. That wasn't right of me to do that, they've taken care of me all this time. I can't- No, I will never do that.

But, this hasn't stopped me from investigating further into them.

The Doctor, or the Second Harbinger was behind all of this. He was the one who gave Crepus the delusion. He was the reason why he died.

Recently, I've got news that a blonde traveler and his flying companion have entered Mondsdat in search of his missing sibling. Sadly, they arrived at the time when the Abyss had done something to Stormterror. As much as I would like to help them, they came at the time when we, The Knights of the Favonius were in serious trouble. We had the Fatui together with the Stormterror incident. Our hands were filled at the moment.

I've interacted with the traveler once or twice. He says that he's an Outlander from a Faraway land. His traveling companion, Paimon. Is an interesting creature, to say the least. She can float in the air while speaking witty remarks directed to others. She called me a 'Painted Cat', which isn't that bad of a nickname compared with the other nicknames she's given people.

But something was fishy about these two. The traveller knew nothing about Teyvat and its Seven Archons which was seen as common sense among the people. And he would stare at the shadows like he could see something. Like he could see him

This worries me. The last time Diluc was seen by someone, they had a merciless and gruesome death at his hands.

.

"Please stay away traveler. Don't bring me into your plans. I can't risk it, something might happen and I won't be able to save you from it. Leave before he comes back."

.

Despite my warnings, he just took me into their group. I could see that Acting Grandmaster Jean and Venti the bard were a part of it too.

Venti stared at the traveler and said, "You're here" The traveler nodded, and Paimon explained the current situation. It seems that the Fatui had stolen the Holy Lyre Der Himmel when the Traveller was going to take it first?

Jean looked surprised, "Traveller, I've heard about the Holy Lyre but It was you?"

After a while of awkward silence Jean spoke up saying, "So, the sound of the Holy Lyre can purify Stormterror and return it to normal... Is that true?"

Venti nodded with a smile that befitted his title of a Bard, a witty and sly smile slowly appearing on his face. "That's right! Traveler is putting themselves on the front line to try and resolve this Stormterror issue."

I kept quiet for most of the conversation. I never was that much of a talker after all, after his death.

"From what I understand, Traveller and Venti tried to steal the Lyre but the Fatui stole it first? And the Fatui wants to kill Dvalin, or stormterror?" I just stared at them in disbelief. I knew the Fatui were up to something but this? This was too much.

Wanna know how Jean joined their group, it went like this.

Jean was called to the tavern which D̶i̶l̶u̶c̶  Kaeya owned. Venti called her there. She was told that one of the thieves who stole the lyre was there. She came to investigate.
