Ryuu, the Avenger

Part 10 - Feelings mutual.

Few hours went by, both Shinichi and Ran goes home, leaving Shiho and Asuza. They both refused to leave his side as he's the most important man in their lives. "Nngh..." Itsuki groaned in pain as he slowly opened his eyes, looking around the place. "Where... am I?" He said weakly. Getting the girl's attention.

"Itsuki-san!" Both Asuza and Shiho tackled him and cries hard in his chest. Itsuki can't help but feel bad for making these 2 lovely ladies crying. "Calm down beautiful. I'm not going anywhere." He said reassured as he kisses their heads.

After they crying for an hour, they ended up falling asleep. He gently lays them beside him, on both sides. "I'm sorry for making you both worry so much.. Asuza-san... Shiho.." He said in low tone. "I love you both. Thank you." With that, he get off the bed and walks over to the window, looking outside.

*In his mind: I hope you're doing okay, my goddess. I can't wait to see you again... I will cherish you as well, Chris. You're one of my treasures. Come back to me soon.* He indeed harbored the same feeling for Chris just as he had for both Asuza and Shiho.

As Itsuki was lost in thought, loud voice could be heard outside of his hospital room which snap him out of it, revealing 3 kids along with dark-skinned detective and cute girl in ponytail. He looks over at them.

The kids especially Ayumi run up to him, Kazuha stand beside Heiji. "Yo Nii-chan. It seems you are doin' well, it's worth the trip from Osaka." He said, smiling at the ravenette man. Kazuha looks at the girls on the bed. "Are they okay? They seems crying so much these days." She asked, concerning about the girls.

He smiles softly at the kids, patting them on the head. "Thanks for coming to visit me. And don't worry about the girls, they were worrying sick about me since I've been out of commission for 3 weeks straight. I'm glad I meet 2 wonderful, caring and lovely ladies."

He continued. "Anyway, I have a question for you, Great Detective of the West." Itsuki looked at him in the eye. Heiji furrowing his eyebrow. "What is it nii-chan?" He asked, wondering what could it be. "When you will confess your feelings to Kazuha-san? If you still searching for the most romantic place than Big Ben then don't." He said nonchalantly yet sternly.

"Don't be like Great Detective of the East. Confession isn't a competition. It's a mutual feeling between 2 opposite gender. It's not worth it. Just be honest with your feelings. You've made her wait for so long." He finished. Heiji has nothing to argue with as he knew that Itsuki's right. He has been overcompetitive with Kudo, not even thought of Kazuha's feelings.

Kazuha was touched by Itsuki's gentleman words. She felt jealous of both Asuza and Shiho who got a perfect gentleman like Itsuki. She hoped for Heiji to be like him as she really loves Heiji. "It's okay Itsuki-kun. You've opened Heiji's eyes with your words." She said, smiling as she holds Heiji's hand.

"Heiji.. I want you to know that I will always love you." She looks at him in the eye. Heiji felt his heart thumping by the sudden confession. He decided to get rid of his overcompetitive with Kudo once and for all as Kazuha's feelings is the most important thing to him now.

Heiji pushes Kazuha on the wall, looking at the eye. "I feel the same as you do, Kazuha. I-I love you too.. will ya be my girlfriend?" He shuttered nervously. She smiles softly. "Of course, Heiji. I've been wanting to hear that for so long." She replied with blush on her face. Heiji leans in slowly as he want to kiss her, Kazuha obviously felt the same way.

Itsuki faked cough to get the Osaka couple's attention. Both Heiji and Kazuha startled and distanced themselves. "W-What is it nii-chan?! You ruined our moment!" Heiji retorted. This made a tick mark visible on his forehead. "There's 3 kids here, idiot. Do it when no one's around. I don't want either of you fill their minds with your make out session" He says calmly.

Kazuha pouts like a child that doesn't get candy. "Boo.. you're no fun, Itsuki-kun." She complained. The kids sweatdrops at Kazuha's childish attitude. "Yeah, yeah. These kids are too young for this kind of things." He chuckled.
