Chapter 46

Molly: Because you are distracting my future daughter-in-law, and we want to do work. Go help your father set up the table 

She said and Percy exited the room annoyed before he gave me a small smile which I returned before I blew him a kiss which he caught and put on his heart. 

We had such incredible fun during the dinner, and I was sad that the trio wasn't there with us, but we still have many years in front of us to look forward to. I looked at Percy during dinner, who was already looking at me with a smile before he took my hand in his on the table. I looked at the parents who were discussing small embarrassing things we did when we were little and my eyes widened when my mother started talking about the time she found me and Draco all covered in flour

Y/n: Not more wine for you mom 

I said, taking away her glass, but she ignored me and continued laughing with Mrs Weasley about these kinds of memories

Molly: I still remember that one time when Charlie tried to teach Percy how to ride a broom

He said, and Charlie, who was sitting next to her, laughed at the memory. He had come from Romania for the holidays, and he told us all about the new dragon he was taking care of. He had Ginny on his lap, showing her picture before he entered their conversation. Percy's eyes widened in horror before he closed my ears, so I wouldn't be able to listen to the conversation, I was trying to take them away, but unfortunately for him, I heard it 

Charlie: I put him into the broom, so he would do just a few circles around the house, and he ended up flying into the pig's dung. He smelled for days 

He said, and a laugh left my mouth while looking at a completely embarrassed Percy who was glaring at his brother but then a look at each other and we both burst out laughing 

After dinner, I was sitting with Percy outside the house near the lake with my head on his shoulder and his hand protectively around me. We were admiring the stars while I sang in silence a Christmas song that I heard on the radio while cooking with Mrs. Weasley and my mom

Percy: My mom and dad adore you

He said, and I let out a small laugh before looking at him 

Y/n: Well, my mom liked you so much that I bet she is already planning the wedding 

I said with a smile before turning to look back to the lake, and he gently kissed my forehead

Percy: I applied for a job at the ministry, and they are waiting for my N.E.W.T.S. results.

He said excitedly and I smiled at him. I knew how much he wanted the job so he could make his parents proud, and I just knew that he would succeed in it. I also knew that when he actually made it happen, I would be his number-one supporter and the proudest 

Y/n: Well, I am sure that your job is already yours 

I said, and he smiled before he gently kissed me on the lips. I kissed him back immediately, but then he pulled back with a smile before resting his forehead against mine. He rested his hand on my cheek, rubbing it slowly while looking at my y/c/e with his warm brown ones

Percy: Well I don't know what the future is hiding but what I know is that I want you to be in it

He said, and I smiled at his words. He wanted me to be in his future! He wanted us to have a future and I did too

Percy: It is just an idea, but after I find a job, and you finish your studies in France but also find a job, we could like-

He said, stopping his own sentence and looking at me nervously before he sighed 

Percy: Live together?

He asked before pulling his forehead away from mine, so he would have a complete view of my face and see what my expression would be like. A smile found its place on my face because I absolutely loved the idea of us living with each other 

Y/n: I love the idea, ginger, but I warn you if you snore then I am not sharing a bed with you 

I said crossing my arms with a smile on my face before he let out a small laugh 

Percy: I promise that I don't snore, but who said that you won't

He asked and I scoffed. I didn't snore! I have never snored a single time in my whole life

Y/n: For your information ginger, I sleep like a baby and don't make a single sound 

I said with a proud smile on my face, and he let out a small laugh before he lay down on the grass and I lay my head on his chest before he wrapped his arm around me. He rubbed my arm slowly to keep me warm while I was playing with his free hand 

Percy: One year and a half to make it happen 

He said, and I smiled to myself. It is only one year and a half
