Friday finally came.
The Kolhi and the mehra family drove into the park lot of one of the biggest boutique in Mumbai.
The ladies went to the female section while the men went to the male section.

At the female section.
Pragya: I think this design of saree will fit you properly.
Pallavi: no, this one. She will look good in this.
They brought out two different sarees and show them to prachi.
Prachi: they are all beautiful.
Pragya: pallavi she can't wear pink. She needs to wear yellow for the ceremony.
Pallavi: I totally forgot but I will buy this one for her.
Prachi: thanks Aunt.
Pallavi: it's nothing, you are my daughter.
Prachi smiles while pallavi and pragya keeps going through sarees.

At the male section.
Abhi and Vikram are picking suits for themselves but Ranbir is just sitting looking nervous.
He kept combing his hair to make sure that it was well styled and adjusting his jacket.
Abhi who noticed him went closer to him.
Abhi: I see the groom is preparing.
Ranbir: chi....chief I was........
Abhi: it's nothing, it's a normal thing. Even I did it during my time. I was so nervous that I was grinning like a fool.
Ranbir and Abhi giggled.
Abhi: just keep it cool.
Ranbir: I will chief.
Abhi: now let's go select clothes for your ceremony.
As they scan through the suits, Ranbir's phone rings.
Ranbir: I need to get this I will be back.
He walked out of the boutique and picks his caller.
Rhea: hey Ranbir I am already at the restaurant where are you?
Ranbir: I will be there in a jiffy now.
Rhea: be quick I hate waiting.
Ranbir: I will be there.
He cut the call and texts prachi.

Ranbir: meet me outside the boutique
Prachi: I will be there.

He waits for prachi as he paced back and forth.
Prachi managed to sneak passed pallavi and her mom with a white lie.
She joins Ranbir outside the boutique and sees him pacing back and forth.
Prachi: what's wrong why are you nervous.
Ranbir: I have planned to propose to Rhea today. I invited her to the restaurant next to this boutique. I decorated the garden of the restaurant with roses and flowers I have everything but I am so nervous.
Prachi: where are you such a dummy?
Just approach her and tell her your feelings?
Ranbir: I should have practice this.
Prachi: do one practice how to propose?
Ranbir: let's practice.
He kneels before prachi and clear his throat.
Ranbir: I have always loved you since when we are just children. I love everything about you. You are so special. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are the best. I love you.
He said slipping the ring into prachi's hand.
Prachi giggled.
Prachi: it's perfect. You said it very well. I see love has changed you.
Ranbir smiled and stands up.
Ranbir: thanks for making me practice. She will love it.
They giggled.
Ranbir: my ring.
As prachi was about to remove the ring, someone clear his throat.
They look back and saw Abhi.
Prachi: daddddd
Ranbir: it's not what you think.
Abhi: it is what I am thinking.
Prachi: daddddd
Abhi: I never thought Ranbir will propose to you like that. It's so boring. You're supposed to do it in a simple elegant manner.
Prachi: no dad he was planning to....
Ranbir interrupted.
Ranbir: I am just about to take her to lunch.
Prachi looked at him in shock and Ranbir nodded to her.
Abhi: ok but we will be waiting for you. Have fun. I am so happy. Wait till I tell pragya and pallavi.
He goes back into the boutique.
Ranbir:that's a close one. Why did you want to tell chief that it was a practice proposal, we will get caught.
Prachi: I am sorryy, I didn't think it true.
Ranbir: I never thought you could be stupid.
Prachi: eh don't call me stupid. You are the stupid one who doesn't know how to propose that a girl.
Ranbir: ohhhh forgot. Rhea. Let's go.
They headed for the restaurant.

At the restaurant, pranbir enters the restaurant and sees Rhea pacing back and forth angrily.
Ranbir: let's go,she is angry.
Prachi: I can't, she hates my face.
Ranbir: ok you stay here, I will go meet her.
He took a deep breath as he went towards angry Rhea.
Ranbir: hey Rhea
Rhea: you are late.
Ranbir: I am sorry I was caught up in something.
Rhea: whatever.
Ranbir: I want to show you something come with me.
He took her to the garden of the restaurant.
The surrounding of the garden was decorated with pink and blue balloons.
It suits the flowers in the garden. A slow romantic music was played. A white decorated chair was placed in the center of the garden.
Rhea just scoffed.
Ranbir went down on his kneels.
Ranbir: Rhea I have always loved you since when I was child. I have always made sure of your safety. I have always done everything for you. I love you so much. Please can you make me the happiest man and be my girlfriend?💖💖💖💖💖💖😍😍😍
He brought out the ring.
Rhea: capital letter NO💔💔💔💔
Ranbir felt stabbed.
Why did she reject his proposal
Ranbir: Rhea please no. I love you.
Rhea: if you did, you wouldn't propose to prachi earlier.
Ranbir: you saw that.
Rhea: yes I did.
Ranbir: I didn't propose to her. I was just practicing how I will propose to you. I am so sorry.
Rhea: I never knew that.
Ranbir: now will you accept me?
Rhea: no,I can't wear the same ring prachi wore and besides this decorations are not up to my standard.
She said walking out.
Ranbir: damn Ranbir, you could have done something more better.
Prachi: what happened I saw Rhea leaving. She was looking disgusted.
Ranbir: she didn't like the preparations.
Prachi looks around.
Prachi: then she must be blind. This is really beautiful. It's looks like paradise.
Ranbir; but she didn't like it.
Prachi: she is tasteless. Every girl will like this. So what are you going to do?
Ranbir: I will just try again.
Prachi: ok dad just called. He said that everyone is waiting for us.
There was no answer.
She looks at Ranbir and saw him crying.
She walked towards him and hugged him.
Prachi: you don't need to cry. There is always a next time. You will try again.
Ranbir: I did my best prachi.
Prachi: I will help you in the next one. Don't cry. She will love it.
Ranbir: what if it wasn't the decorations she doesn't like what if it is me?
Prachi cupped his face.
Prachi: don't be bother about that. You are cute, intelligent, kind and sweet. No girl can ever resist loving you.
Ranbir burst into tears as he hugged prachi tight.
He felt comfortable, he felt his heart beating fast. He felt like it was a perfect place for him to be. The warmth and comfort her body gives him can only be given to him by only his mother and aunt. He felt so safe. His heart pounds faster than ever. He didn't want to let go.
Prachi: Ranbir, Ranbir
She called him but there is no answer.
Ranbir was busying enjoying the comfort and warmth of her body.
Prachi: Ranbir!!
Ranbir came out of his trance and she broke the hug.
Prachi: you could have suffocated me.
She said they stood up.
Prachi: Don't worry it's going to be fine. I promise.
Ranbir: I trust you.
Prachi: really, so you trust me to spend the money in your wallet wisely.
Ranbir: what!
He looks at her hands and sees his wallet with her.
Prachi: I am going to get a lot of Ice cream.
Ranbir: give me my wallet.
Prachi: nope
She said sticking out her tongue 😜😜 as she ran and Ranbir chased her.
