"Guys!" Maggie yelled as we walked into the house
I gulped and sighed.
"we're in here!" Hayes yelled by the living room
she looked at me and we walked into the room
"we have something to tell you" Maggie said as she shut the TV off
"well go on" Nash motioned
I showed Nash the finger and he shut up.
"Mercury and I are..." Maggie looked at me
I squeezed my eyes shut and opened them
"twins" we said at the same time
all the guys broke out in laughter.
"alright dont believe me Maggs let's go" I snapped as I walked out the room and jogged up the steps
I went into the bathroom and locked the door. I sighed and started to wash my hair making sure to get the dye out.
after a good amount of time I dried my hair and looked at myself in the mirror. natural black hair.
I brushed it out and walked out the room
"THAT HAIR THO!" Maggie yelled jumping up
"oh shut up" I laughed
"I need a picture" Maggie said taking out her phone
we stood in front of my bedroom mirror. I smiled while Maggie... stuck her tongue out she was always the funny one.
"let's gooooo" she whined as she pulled me down the stairs
we walked into the room and Hayes spit out his cereal.
"DAMN WHO THIS SHE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE YOU!" Hayes yelled
all the boys looked back at us
"I'm Mercury" I laughed
"and I'm Maggie" Maggie smiled
"you still.look stupid" Nash laughed then his face went straight
"shit I'm so-" Nash started
"WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST ME! WHERE THE HELL IS THE NASH THAT HELPED ME WITH EVERYTHING! AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH! WHATS NEXT JACK DUMPING ME BECAUSE I HAVE BLACK HAIR! I CANT DO THIS!" I screamed tears falling down
I gulped as the tears continued.
"I'm gonna go.." I whispered as I walked out the room and turned the corner
right when I was about to shut my room.door I was turned around and pushed onto the wall
I looked at the person. Jack Gilinsky.
"dont EVER say that shit understood?" he said mad
"but-" he cut me off
"DONT SAY IT AGAIN MERCURY!" He yelled
I gulped.
"no its true" I mumbled looking away
he took my face in his hands and we locked eyes
"please baby girl dont say that again. I love you and I noticed you had dye in your hair awhile ago. I didn't say anything because I thought you were gonna wash it out. I don't care if your Maggie's twin or not. your beautiful the way you are. I love you for you understood?" he asked
"I love you Jack" I whispered as tears fell and he pulled me into his chest.
"I love you to Mercury" he whispered as he kissed my forehead
I then realize that what Jack said was true. it was all 100% true. I'm who I am and if people.think otherwiser I dont care.
