"Let me guess," Charlie broke the silence, "you are going to get the boneless combo, and then you were going to ask for honey and get really upset at the fact that they don't have it."

Connie blinks, "Actually.. yeah. I was going to do that," she turns to look at Charlie, "how the hell did you know that?"

Charlie just smiles, "What can I say? This mother shucker knows everything."

The girl infront of them froze, trying to slyly look behind herself, eyes widening when she saw the two. She turned to face the front quickly, elbowing her father, "Papa," she said in an exaggerated voice, before lowering her tone a little, trying and failing to make sure the pair didn't hear her speak, "there are two people behind us. They are famous Youtubers that I like, please don't say anything weird."

The father nods, "Alright then," his voice betrays a grin, "like you don't want me to talk about how you used to wear a helmet around all the time because you were scared you would get hurt?" he asks.

The girl groans, "Shut up shut up shut up."

He doesn't listen to his daughters pleas at mercy, "Or how you used to lick windows? Or suck on baby wipes?"

"Oh my god," she covers her face, "please stop. Oh my god.. this is like if you met Shakira, Dad!!"

Her dad laughs, "No. Because I am never going to meet Shakira," he turns around, stretching a hand out to Charlie, "Hello. I am Joseph, and this is my daughter Ruth. Say hi, Ruth."

"Hello," Ruth says, turning around as well and trying not to look as if she were in pure agony.

Charlie looked a little taken aback, but he accepted Joseph's hand and shook it enthusiastically, "Hi. I'm Charlie, this is Connie beside me," Connie waves, grinning.

"Oh my god," Ruth mumbles, "I think I might just shrivel up and die. Holy cow," she body checks her dad, laughing as he loses his footing for a moment, "this is all your fault."

The dad laughs, "It is my fault, isn't it?" he body checks his daughter back, "Is it alright if my daughter got a photo with you two? I'm pretty sure she's a fan."

"Of course!" Connie says, "We'd be more than happy too."

Joseph pulls out his phone to take a photo, nudging his daughter towards Charlie and Connie. Ruth holds her thumbs up for the photo, grinning as the pair also does so.

After, Ruth turns back to them, "Thank you so much, this means a lot to me you have no idea," she pauses, "should I wait to post this photo on social media? I just- you guys haven't hung out in public before- at least I don't think so."

Connie smiles gratefully, "If you could wait until one of us mentions it online, that would be great."

Ruth nods, "It was super nice meeting you!!" turning back to her dad as they wait to step up to the register and order.

"Is your sister a fan of those two as well..?" The dad asks, showing Ruth the photo he got.

Ruth shakes her head, "No. But if she saw Markiplier she would literally faint," the pair laughed, going back to their original conversation.

Charlie smiles, leaning closer to whisper to Connie, "I'm so glad that our fans aren't like- crazy or something."

Connie nods, continuing in the same tone as Charlie, "Me too. They are all super kind, aren't they?"

After a few more minutes of waiting, Connie orders her food and they find a clean table to eat at, which was more difficult than you'd think.

They make really nice conversation, flowing from topic to topic almost seamlessly.

"You know," Charlie says, "I'm actually allergic to cats."

Connie gapes, "No," her face contorts to mock anger, "I've been talking to a cat hater for like three months now? The audacity of some people."

Charlie smiles, "I don't hate them! I'm just allergic," he sighs, "But don't worry Cory, I'll put up with my allergy for you."

"Oh fuck off," Connie groans, "you are not allowed at my house until further notice. I don't want your death on my conscious."

"It doesn't kill me," He says, "I just get like- hives and start sneezing and sometimes I can't breath."

"No," She cuts him off, "We hang out at your house, okay?"

Charlie grins, "That implies that you want to see me again."

"Of course I want to see you again," Connie lightly slaps his arm from across the table, "Dev's too far away for me to hang out with her."

Charlie dramatically frowns, making his bottom lip wobble, "So I'm the second choice?"

"Yes," Connie replied deadpan, before grinning, "Of course not, doofus."
