Jennie's POV
We are now at the seoul university to watch the opening of their university week. We actually went here to observe and to know the place because we are invited to perform here for the closing event this Friday.
"There university band are going to perform now" Irene unnie inform us.
She's excited to watch the U - band because according to her friend, their university band are all talented.
Well, for what I noticed on the crowd maybe Irene unnie's friend is right. I just hope that the crowd is excited for the band because of their talents rather than their faces.
"Check. Check. Mic check-" the person on the stage tap the mic more to check if it's working fine
Just by hearing the voice of the person, the students all cheered in anticipation.
"Wow the crowd are really indeed hype here" jisoo unnie said with amusement on her tone.
Well she more likely yells, because of the crowd we can't hear each other properly
The person look at the crowd and then smile that makes the crowd go crazy
"Sure they do have a crowd impact" wendy said
"Well I just hope they're good" they all look at me with a questioning expression when I speak
"what? Oh come on guys we're student once. Admit it or not some member in a band ain't even that good. As long as they have looks and can pull the crowd then they're in" I reason out as matter of fact
Seems like they agree to me as they slowly nod
"Come on Jennie, I'm sure students here are not like that. There are many foreign students here too so let's just watch and see" Irene unnie said
"The band is not starting yet and here you are already judging them. Here, have some positivity" jisoo unnie added then act like she's sprinkler me some 'positivity'
Aish!
I'm not like this! It's just that I'm tired!!!
We are all tired! We just went to the award shows and then get back to our dorm and then went back to yg to train and then after that we head straight here!
Like we're supposed to be in our dorm in this time. This isn't even included in our schedule for today
Irene unnie just insisted to go here on our way home. Her reason? Like what I said earlier 'to know the place and the crowd' but we don't actually have to be here like right now
Aish!
I'm tired and I'm hungry!!!
"Hello everyone!!!" a girl greet the crowd that cut my thoughts and the crowd went wild
"Woah, that's their vocalist?" Wendy ask in amusement while still staring at the girl on the stage
She smile. So wide. Her eyes almost disappear because of her smile. Like she's shy and nervous but that makes her cute even more
She starts to talk and introduce herself and her members while still smiling but I can see that she's nervous and shy.
I'm a performer too so I know what it feels like to be in front of the crowd whether it's thousands or just a small crowd, a crowd is still a crowd.
She's shy and she's so cute
And her smile is contagious that I didn't even notice that I'm smiling while watching her if jisoo unnie just didn't speak
"Ohh so they have two vocalist" we just nodded on what she said "looks like they're both foreigner too" Wendy added
"Well I like the taller one" Irene unnie said and that doesn't sit right to me so I gave her a questioning look
"Come on Jennie, it's 2023. Being attracted to the same gender is a thing now" I just chuckle
It's not that I have a problem on that thing, it's just I didn't know she have a thing on girls too
"I just adore the girl with the bangs"
She added. I ignore her and just focus on the university band and how they interact with the crowds.
We are here to observe the place after all
