The Count Down

Okie dokie..wow that sounded really gay, lol okay here it is! Im hoping to upload the last chapter and the epilogue this week sooo, look out for em!!

We decided to just be impulsive and go for it. I crept back into the castle type thing and walked right up behind Luna who was looking for Layla. I tapped her on her shoulder, and, when she turned around I punched her square in the eye. " What the-" she started but was cut off when I kicked her in the jaw. She dropped to the ground, holding her eyes and shouting profanities. 

"Luna?" we heard right before we saw Taylor's head poke over the step railing. " Whats going on?" she shrieked. Before any of us could respond she hopped over the railing and landed on Drew's shoulders. Taylor bit Drew's neck and he screamed out in agony. She then planted her teeth deeper into his veins and yanked. We all cringed at the sound of Drew's neck being torn off.  Finally, the horrid sound stopped when Drew's whole head came off. Taylor held the head in her mouth and growled like a savage beast. She then spit the head onto the ground and let the rest of Drew's body fall to the ground with a sickening thud. 

Taylor started to lunge at Xavier when a dark figure shot across the sky and tackled Taylor. I looked at them and saw Mikelo on top of a very angry Taylor. "Mikelo?" I whispered. His eyes boar into mine and I never felt more in love. "  I couldn't stay away." Mikelo said solemnly. I bit my bottom lip as my beloved came and stood next to my brother, throwing Taylor like a rag doll. 

Taylor landed on her feet and slid half away across the room. She growled menacingly and ran full speed towards us. Willy jumped out in front of her and they landed on the ground with a thud. Xavier noticed Luna creeping up near me and turned into a werewolf. I gasped. He was a humongous grey wolf, about seven feet high, with an enormous body with rippling muscles. Luna and Xavier started to fight while Layla, Josh, Mikelo and I just stood there, useless.

I took this time to examine my twin.  His eyes were glowing a bright yellow and his skin was paling by the minute. His breaths were ragged and he was sweating like crazy. " josh?" I whispered as i slipped my hand into his. He looked at me and shuddered. I squeezed his hand and gave him a reassuring smile. " it's going to be okay." I whispered and drew him close to me. I squeezed his body tightly. " I love you Josh." I squeezed my brother once more. " I love you too, Mae." He said and sat on the ground, moaning. 

Taylor finally broke away from Willy and rushed at me. I shrieked but before my cousin could get to me, Layla jumped in front of me and threw Taylor to the ground. Taylor ferociously bit into Layla's neck and she screamed. " Willy!" she cried out between her painful groans. Willy looked at his girlfriend breathlessly. Layla looked at her boyfriend with tear filled eyes as Taylor sucked out her blood, he life. " I love you." she whispered and pulled Willy's head to her and kissed him. She let him go with a sad smile and died. Taylor had sucked her dry.

Willy started to sob uncontrollably muttering Layla and holding her head in his hands. I sadly lifted my eyes away from Layla. I was really starting to like her. I felt a lonely tear roll down my cheek as Taylor started to advance towards me. I nodded my head, accepting death.

Taylor gave a low, menacing chuckle. " Giving up so easily Mae darling?" she said licking her lips.  Another tear rolled down my cheek as I solemnly nodded. She chuckled again and took another step forward. " I'm gonna enjoy this." she rasped as she lunged at me. Before she could get me Mikelo tackled her, the third time shes been tackled, and held her on the ground. " Mae! Come hold her! The sun is coming up in two minutes." I ran over to him and punched Taylor in her temple, knocking her unconscious. I nodded at Mikelo and took over holding down my sadistic cousin. As Mikelo gazed into my eyes he kissed me urgently.

As he broke away he muttered that he loved me., then left me to go stand with Josh, who was getting worse by the second. Willy got up from Layla and gingerly placed a kiss on her forehead. He grabbed Luna by the neck, who was sucking the blood from Xavier's neck. He dragged her over and punched her in her temple, following my lead. He lay her limp body by Taylor's and held her down. " On the count of ten." he said without looking at me. I nodded.

" Josh! Do you want to help?" I called to my twin, but it was to late. Josh had blood red eyes, and was breathing mormally. He had pointy fangs protruding from his gums. Joshg was a vampire. " No!"
