The Count Down

When we get home it is past midnight. To late for Aunt Tori. She is standing in the middle of the hall with her arms cross when she walks in. " Where have you guys been?" she asks us, clearly upset. " um." I start, but Willy interrupts me. " We were at Blood Light when you called. We have been walking home ever since." he said. He lied. He showed us he was a werewolf, which is why we were late. " hmmm." she says. She definitely is not convinced. i start to sweat, my breathing gets heavier. She notices. " Mae, do you have something to say?" she asks me. I gulp. " Not, not rally." i say, but then i add, " Willy isn't lying." She sighs and holds out her hand. " Whatever," she says, " but rules are rules and you were out past curfew. Hand over your phones." We do as we are told. Willy hands over his old, blue Razor, Josh his Blackberry, and me my NV Touch. She puts the phones in her robe pocket. " Go up to your rooms' and go to bed." she told us, pointing to the stairs. We all bowed our heads and walked up stairs. I took a shower and dressed in blue plaid pajama pants and an over sized white t-shirt. I brushed through my tangled auburn hair and climbed into bed. I thought about Willy being a werewolf. How strange, a werewolf in Romania. Not really what i expected but okay! Slowly, i drifted off to a deep sleep.

I woke up the next morning to the sun shining brightly through my purple curtains. i got out of bed and dressed in a blue t-shirt with 'paint splattered' shorts. I brushed my hair and let it fall loosely. I walked down stairs to the kitchen. Willy and Aunt Tori were eating waffles. I sat down and joined them just as Josh walked in " Morning Everybody!" he said. We all mumbled something that sounded like good morning. He joind us in our waffle feast. After we had all finished Josh, Willy, and I walked to the back yard. " you guys want to see something?" Willy asked us. " If it is you changing into a wolf again, then no." Josh said. " No, it's not." willy said with a smile. " Then yes." I say and walk towards him. He nods his head and starts to walk towards the woods. I look back at josh who is still standing there. I wave for him to follow and he does. We walk all through the woods. Over the river and through the woods. but I don't think we are going to Grandma's house. After ten minutes we come to a little log cabin. Grandma? No. Willy goes up to the door and knocks. knock-knock-kn knock knock-knock knock. ( Lol i tried my best to sound out that knockXD) I look at josh and he shrugs. the door opens and a little pixie like girl is standing there. She has black hair with blue highlights. She is wearing a sea foam green top with jeans and tennis shoes. " willy!" she cried. she jumped into his arms and kissed him. What is going on? Willy smiles at her and gives her a hug. " Guys, this is Layla. My girlfriend." She smiles at us and holds out her hand. " Mae and Josh right? I've heard so much about you." we shake her hands. " Nice to meet you, but, no offense, we have never heard one word about you before." i say to her. She laughs, like a fairy, and leads us into the cabin. There is a small wood table with three chairs and a sink. There is a couch, love seat, fireplace, and steps that lead to a loft with three beds. there is also a bed down on this floor. " Who lives here?" I ask. " The pack." Layla answers. I stared at her, my brow furrowed. " the wolf pack." Willy cuts in. " Is she in it?" I ask him. They both nod. " The only girl." she says, oddly proud. " The boys, Drew, Owen, and Xavier are out hunting. They only like to eat fresh meat." Layla tells us. I nod my head. Eww. Willy and Layla sit down at the table and start to eat meat. Raw meat. i think I might throw up so I go sit on the couch, Josh follows me.  We sit in silence until there is the same strange knock at the door. Layla answers it and in walk three buys. Drew, Owen and Xavier I presume.  Layla walks them over to us and introduces them. The long haired one is Xavier, the brown haired boy is Drew and the blondie is Owen. They say hi and Drew doesn't stop looking at me. Eww, for the third time. They all climb up to the loft and flop into beds. Soon we hear them snoring.

When we leave the cabin It is about TEn o' clock. Layla comes with us. WE go to a cafe and get coffee. While walking home we PAss Blood Light. I see the same pink haired girl and the black haired girl. When they walk past me they trip me. " OOF!" I say as my chest hits the ground. They grab my ankles and start to pull. " OWWWW!" I scream. i think i twisted my left ankle. They drag me to an alley where no one can hear me scream.
