Parth couldn't stop as a big smile graced his lips, brimming with pride and happiness.

She spoke up for him.

For him!

Parth's smile widened as he remembered the incident Abhi was talking about.

It had been two months of Parth at Modern Academy. He was still trying to find his way through school when, one day, in the wee hours of the morning before the school assembly, he had witnessed two boys from his class getting into a brawl.

He had swiftly rushed to stop them when their class teacher had entered the scene and took him as one of the guys involved.

The teacher was about to take Parth and the two boys to the principal, asking him to suspend them. Parth had repeatedly tried to explain that he was innocent, but the teacher hadn't paid any heed.

Suddenly, Sharvi had appeared from somewhere and had spoken up, "It wasn't Parth, Sir. I saw everything. He wasn't involved."

She had managed to convince the teacher about his innocence by narrating the whole truth to him, which Parth hadn't been able to, saving him from getting suspended.

Later, he remembered her scolding him for getting into trouble as he had foolishly stared at her.

Parth couldn't help but feel giddy at the memory. His heart raced with exhilaration, and a joyful tingling sensation danced through his veins.

She has always been like that.

His little fighter!

The sound of a notification ringing grabbed Parth's attention.

It was an Instagram notification.

He opened the app and began scrolling through it when he came across a post by one of his classmates, whom he followed on Instagram.

The classmate had posted several pictures from the evening. Parth swiped through the pictures, and his gaze came to a halt at the last one.

It was a group photo, but what caught his eye was a girl wearing a white saree, smiling brightly and posing for the picture.

Sharvi. He couldn't help but stare at her.

He noticed her Instagram account tagged in the picture and couldn't resist tapping on it, opening her profile.

Parth zoomed in on her profile picture

Parth zoomed in on her profile picture. It was a mirror selfie, with her phone covering her entire face.

He couldn't help but feel irritated, "What kind of picture is this? Why take a picture when you don't even show your face?"

He continued to browse her profile, which had only five posts, all related to her architectural projects and none featuring her.

He looked at her architectural designs and couldn't help but feel proud.
