Under His Protection
God is the One that I turn to
In times of need;
For He sees me through
When I am faced with adversity.
In spite of the many people that I encounter,
I am firm in my conviction
That the sun can only shine brighter
If I am under His protection.
And so I seek Him in His temple,
Where I cry out to Him
And make known my struggles;
He sends an angel to ease the grief.
Because of the Most High,
I can keep my eyes on the prize
And tread on with a genuine smile;
For I look forward to the return of Christ.
