God Is By Your Side
If you are going through a lot,
And your mind is haunted by thoughts
That weigh you down
And bring your lips into a frown...
Close your eyes; bow your head;
Cry out freely to Him;
Tell Him your complaints,
All that is causing you pain.
He will be there to wipe your tears
And relieve you of your fears;
Though this world is filled with chaos,
You'll be firm if in Him you trust.
You will always anticipate
Many more sunny days;
For the Lord is by your side;
Come what may, you'll win this fight.
