"Adhu onnumila akka.. just ippo varen nu ponen adu kulla madam ena miss panra" he said patting her cheeks. [Nothing sister, I just excused myself for a few minutes, within that madam has started missing me.]

"Oh is that so?" Swetha asked turning to Janani smiling at her teasingly.

"No..it's not that... before she could say something, Jagaa once again interrupted saying-

"She's shy to admit the truth" and they both started laughing, making Janani grit her teeth in anger.

"Anni.." she called Swetha in a strained voice.

"Okay.. okay I'm sorry. I won't laugh. But stop pouting so much.. you look so cute when you do that." Swetha said pinching her cheeks slightly which earned a groan from her.

"I know right she looks so edible right now" commented Jagadish.

"Who looks edible?" Asked Kowshik coming towards them after bidding bye to a group of relatives.

"Your sister!" Jagaa said causally. Kowshik's eyes went as wide as saucers hearing his words.

"What?!" Kowshik whisper yelled out of shock.

"Anna! I don't like this Anni! Why don't we bring a new Anni with modified features?" Janani asked innocently giving her best puppy eyes to her brother.

Swetha gasped hearing her idea and looked at Kowshik threateningly while awaiting his response.

Though intimidated by his wife, he decided to play along with his sister and said

"That's actually a good idea. She looks a little defective piece.. isn't she?" He asked suppressing his laugh.

The moment Kowshik finished his sentence, his wife took no time in chasing him all through the mandapam, without any mercy.
Their cute tom and jerry race was a nice enjoyment for all the kids present there who laughed heartily seeing Kowshik being chased by his wife.
Meanwhile, Janani and Jagaa high-fived with each other for executing their plan so smoothly.

However, some boomer aunties were triggered watching this and started gossiping among themselves about how modern women never respect their husbands at all.

By this time, the engagement function had come to an end and even some audience from the groom's side were enjoying this rat-mouse chase.

However, Anusha's mother was fuming with anger and was cursing Janani and her family mentally for creating a ruckus in her daughter's function and was throwing daggers at her husband for inviting them despite her refusal.

After sometime, Swetha caught Kowshik and asked him while panting hard, "Do I look like a defective piece.?"

"No ma. I was just kidding. Okay. Just chill. You are the most beautiful piece that I got!" He said looking in to her eyes with a soft smile while tucking her loose hair strands behind her ear.

"You are not joking la?" She asked once again.

"Ada epudi kandupidicha?" He asked winking at her. [How did you find it di?]

"Ennadhu?" She looked at him clueless.[What?!]

"Summa Summa" he said showing his tongue out. [Just for fun]

"Adhu! Andha bayam irrukanum.!" She playfully threatened him. He also laughed with her shaking his head. [That's good. You should have that fear of me]

"I'll go and call amma and appa. Then we'll go have dinner and then leave. Okay?" He asked her.

"Hmm okay, you go to them, I'll search for that Vaalu (Janani)"
