"Narda" a guy called out just as Narda got off the foundation
"Oh! Brian! Napadaan ka?" she gives him a small smile wondering what the cop is doing there when there's no problem at their place
"Musta ka na, hindi na kita masyadong nakikita sa mga trouble ah, nag lay low ka na ba?" he said smiling which the other couldn't comprehend what so funny about it
"Ah, hindi naman kasi ako naghahanap ng gulo, nagkakataon lang," Narda said trying not to ruin her good mood
"Ganun ba, pauwi ka na ba? Gusto mo isabay na kita?" he said while offering and opening the police car door
On the other side of the foundation, Regina is sitting at the back of her car driven by Ali, she saw the guy lurking at the foundation waiting for someone
"Don't go yet, what is this cop doing here?" she asked Ali irritated
"Mukhang may hinihintay Ma'am Regina," he said when he observes Robles that is looking at his watch every now and then
"And who might that be?" Regina looks curious and sounds interested
Regina saw Narda walking out of the foundation, she looks at her watch and forgot that Narda is on the morning shift that day. She thought of taking Narda home since she can today, usually, Regina stays behind until late in the evening that's why when Narda is on the morning shift they don't go home together. Her mood shifts when she saw that the cop is talking to Narda
"Do they know each other?" Regina asked Ali like the guy knows everything that is happening to Narda
"Mukha po" Ali assured
"What does he want from Narda?" she mumbled to herself quietly
"Ma'am Regina pinagbubuksan ng pinto ni Robles si Narda, ihahatid po ata," Ali said in a panic state
"Go to Narda! Now!" Regina yelled in frustration, Ali stepped on the gas immediately and stopped in front of the two people they'd been observing the whole time
Ali opened the back window so Regina can be seen by Narda
"Narda! Enter the car now!" she yelled and the window closed immediately
Narda was stunned when she saw Regina, she was trying to reject Brian and she was running out of reasons. Thankfully, if that's what you called that, Regina came
"Brian sorry ha, mukhang galit si boss, may kailangan ata sakin, pasensya na ha," Narda said trying to be polite to the police officer
"Ok lang Narda, napadaan lang naman talaga ako dito, puntahan mo na boss mo mukhang galit nga," he said smiling and entering his car
Narda immediately opened the car door and sat inside
'She looks happy, is it because of that guy?' Regina rolled her eyes. Ali started to drive away as the two women is sitting quietly behind
"A-Ah Regina, salamat ha" Narda trying to break the ice between them
"Kanina ko pa kasi tinatanggihan si Brian kaya lang makulit eh, buti na lang talaga dumating ka" as much as Regina wants to be happy she can't ignore the fact that Narda and the cop are on a first-name basis
"So, Brian and you, are you close?" Ali looked in the rearview mirror looking at Regina who can't seem to hide her jealousy
"Ah, hindi naman masyado, nagkakataon lang, madalas kasi kami nagkikita pag may mga gulong ganap sa paligid eh" she explained
"Gulo? Why?"
"Wala yun Regina, nagkakataon lang talaga" Regina visibly sighed, Narda noticed that the other girl seemed to worry about what she said so she held her hand and caressed it
"Huwag kang mag-alala Regina," she said softly, Regina looked at their hands together and then looked at Narda's eyes directly
"Mag-iingat ako palagi para hindi ka mag-isip" she assured her
"You better Narda" she warned, she sighed again as she tried to compose herself, this roller coaster of emotions that only Narda can do
"I'm sorry I yelled earlier when I tried to get you in the car," she said as she shakes their hands together
"Ok lang yun Regina, masaya nga ako eh kasi may naidahilan ako" she smiled that blinding smile again
'Oh! She's happy, and it's because of me'
