DAYS had passed and things went rough for Luther. Five reports of deaths in Elphinestone and everyone is asking for his actions.
"Brother, the elders are asking for a private meeting." Ani ni Paris.
Napabuntong hininga si Luther dahil hindi na niya alam kung ano ang uunahin niya. "I thought they are gone, tsk." Nakangising sabi ni Luther.
"What should I reply?" Tanong ni Paris.
"I don't want to hear their non sense suggestions, they are the one who pushed me to marriage and wants to pursue the Lazaro clan." Ani ni Luther.
"You know how powerful they are, you can't disobey the elders!" Natatarantang sabi ni Paris, matalim naman ang titig ni Luther sa kawalan na tipo bang pinipigilan nitong sumabog at mag puyos sa galit.
"I'm in the right position to disobey the elders..." ani nito ngunit bigla rinnnitong binawi ang sinabi niya. "Fine schedule my meeting with the elders then." Ani ni Luther kay Paris.
He didn't know what the elders are thinking right now but one thing is for sure, it's not about to strenghten the bond and alliance. They want the Lazaro's blood.
"Copy that!" Ani ni Paris. "Mr Abraham is coming here tonight." Ani ni Paris.
Napakunot noo naman si Luther dahil sa sinabi ng kapatid niya. "For what?" Tanong niya.
"I don't know, ask him na lang brother." Ani ni Paris at nag paalam na ito.
Umupo siya sa swivel chair niya at hinilot hilot ang sintido niya. Things are getting heavier, he didn't know if he can really prove that he is the right leader for their clan.
What should I do to get everything done?
HUMINTO ang kotse ni Luther sa tapat ng maraming tao kung saan naroon ang mga kaibigan niya at ang mga police ng Elphinestone.
"Sir!" Tawag ng chief sakaniya.
"Another two deaths report today, there are speculations that Gustavo is the one who did this." Ani ng chief sakaniya.
Tumango tango naman siya. "I see, guard the entrance to Elphinestone and I'll do the investigation in Gustavo's clan." Ani ni Luther na bigla naman siyang pinigilan ni Vlad.
"No! We can't let you do that." Ani ni Vlad.
"Why not? I should be the one in charge in dangerous stuffs." Ani ni Luther at kaagad na umalis ang binata.
But his friends wont let him go alone.
"I will come with you, just don't go alone." Ani ni Vlad.
Luther sighed and shooked his head. He doesn't want to put his friends in danger, he needs them to protect someone while he's away.
"Stefan, while I'm gone I need you to keep an eye on someone." Ani ni Luther. " Someone will be waiting for you in my office and you're the one who will talk to her." Ani ni Luther.
Luther's plan will be very dangerous, knowing his abilities are reducing his energy.
Walang sabi sabing umalis si Luther dahil sa isang iglap ay para itong nag laho na parang bula.
NAPATAYO si Ivy sa inuupuan niyang swivel chair ng makita niyang pumasok si Stefan. Nakita siya nito kaagad at binigyan siya ng confusing look na ikinangisi naman niya.
"What are you doing here?" Tanong niya kay Ivy.
"I guess Luther told you to take his place?" Tanong ni Ivy na ikinakunot noo naman ni Stefan.
"I'm sorry, ikaw ba ang tinutukoy niya?" Tanong pa ni Stefan at tumango tango naman si Ivy bilang sagot nito sa tanong ng binata.
"Mahalaga ba 'yung sasabihin mo para ikaw mismo ang pumunta rito?" Ani ni Stefan.
Tumango tango naman si Ivy at tumikhim bago mag salita, mariin niyang tinignan si Stefan at kaagad na naging seryoso ang tindig sa pagitan nilang dalawa.
"We found Celeste." Malamig na sabi ni Ivy na ikinagulat naman ni Stefan.
"Where is she? Does my brother knew?" Tanong ni Stefan.
"Yes, he knew. Although, Celeste is in unusual situation, she's been isolated by her parents." Ani ni Ivy.
"So, you mean that she's been kidnapped by Gustavo?" Takang tanong ni Stefan.
"Of course not, she was kidnapped and isolated by her biological parents." Ani ni Ivy at tumango-tango naman si Stefan. "I guess her parents is wealthy and powerful para ipakidnap ang sarili nilang anak." Ani ni Stefan.
"Far beyond powerful, Stefan. Of course, she's from the Lazaro clan." Ani ni Ivy at naistatwa naman si Stefan dahil hindi ito kaagad naka-imik sa sinabi ni Ivy.
Nang maka-recover siya sa pagkabigla ay lumapit siya ng konti kay Ivy at sumenyas na babaan lang nito ang boses niya.
"Shh, watch your words Ivy! The elders are pushing Luther to pursue the Lazaro clan but he refused." Ani ni Stefan.
"I know, that's why I told you because I need your help!" Ani ni Ivy sa mahinang boses. Napakunot noo naman si Stefan dahil sa sinabi ni Ivy na kailangan nito ng tulong niya.
"Luther is a coward, we went to Dashwood last night but unfortunately Luther wasn't able to talk to Celeste properly for a reason that she was always surrounded by guards and she can't remember anything. I bet, the scientist erased her memories by removing her core memory in her blood and extracting a new blood to create a new core memory." Paliwanag ni Ivy.
"You mean, their core memory is within their bloods?" Tanong ni Stefan na tinanguan naman ni Ivy. "How come, you know a lot?" Nahihiwagaang tanong ni Stefan sakaniya.
"It's my specialty. So now, I want you to convince Luther without telling everyone the context. It's just you, me and Luther." Ani ni Ivy at napatango-tango na lang si Stefan sakaniya kahit na wala pang ideya ang binata kung paano ang gagawin niya.
LUTHER is holding the cylindrical glass that has Celeste's blood in it, it was given by his friend, Vlad. He was told to drink it before the battle but his intrusive thought kept telling him to drink it now.
Naramdaman niyang may papasok sa opisina niya kaya kaagad niya 'yon tinago.
"Did you hunt? I can smell blood." Ani ni Stefan.
It was indeed a Lazaro's blood.
