just another day

I woke up bright and early at the exact 5 on the dot. When you have horses you begin to slip into a habit of waking up early.

I get out of bed and make my way to my bathroom. I've been needing to pee all night but I was scared incase a spider would come and get me.

After I have done my business I begin to brush my teeth, eyeing the floor in process. Spiders really have my paranoid.

Once I wash out my mouth after brushing them I go over to my wardrobe and pick my outfit for the day.

I looked carefully at the Le Mieux base layers and eventually chose Azure with some black jogphers.

Once I got those on I undid my pony tail I sleeped in and brushed through my Hazel colored hair.

I picked a matching bright blue bobble and tied my hair back leaving 2 strands at the front.

I don't bother with make up since I have no money or time for that.

I put on my riding boots and head out my bedroom. I walk into the kitchen and I'm immediately greeted by my 3 dogs.

Oakley, Hazel and Snow.

There all siblings that turned 1 the other day.

Oakley is a golden labrador. Hazel is a brown labrador then Snow is a white labrador. Next I need a black labrador named Raven then the little pack will be complete.

I go into a cupboard and get out some dog food and sashes with powers.

I make sure my dogs eat healthy so they live the longest life they can.

Once I've put all the food in there bowls I set them down. Blue for Oakley, purple for Hazel and Pink for snow.

Once I know that there happy and eating I make myself some toast.

Once I've eaten my toast and the dogs have eaten their food I clean up and put their collars on.

I grab their matching leads and head out the doors.

We walk over to my pink rang rover and hop in.

It's quite warm so I don't bother taking a jacket. I'm probably going to regret that later.

I start the car after making sure the dogs are secured and safe and begin driving.

I drive for 20 minutes and arrive at the horse yard.

The yard I keep Luna at is also a riding school. I'm not complaining or being mean but it's annoying.

Whenever pony clubs are on the kids are always touching and feeding Luna when there's a sign that says no touching or feeding.

Simply because Luna is a scared horse, I rescued her from an abused home which involved many men and little kids.

For the eating part, Luna can't have many treats due to something in her digestive system. No other caused by her old home.

I sigh thinking about it and park up, once I've parked up I get out and let the dogs out after unclipping their safety belts.

They come jumping out and running off. One thing I like about this yard is it has a dog zone so the dogs can just play for hours.

I walk over to the feed room and make up Lunas breakfast. Once I've finished making it I go over to her stable and see the cutest thing ever.

She's waiting for me with her ears up. Once she notices me she neighs. So freaking cute!

I laugh and open her door. She backs up on her own and waits so patiently.

I put her food bucket on the floor and then she begins to eat.

Today I'm thinking about going on a hack.

Once she's finished eating I take some photos and also put some pictures on Instagram.

I grab her main headcollar that is on her stable door and put it on.

I walk her out of her stable with her food bucket in my hand and walk over to the feed room.

I quickly let go of Luna and put the bucket back.

I go out of the feed room and lock it then go back to Luna who was waiting.

I walk her over to the tie poles and tie her up.

The tack room is right next to the tie pole area so that makes my life so much easier.

I grab all the tack and tack her up.

Azure is definitely one of my favourites.

I untie her and tell her to hold as I mount her.

Your probably thinking how a 5,3 manages to mount a 15.3hh without a mounting block, I got used to jumping high at a young age so now I just give a little push of the ground and bam I'm on her.

I walk her over and out of the entrance of the yard and onto the roads which are used for hacking.
