Start from the beginning

And he had seen the little purple
package of pills in the cabinet in
their bathroom, the vitamins to
prepare his body for a possible
pregnancy.

But when do you actually know
that you're ready for such a
big change in life?

When you're financially stable?

Because they were, Changbin was
happy with his job as a producer
and he got paid well too just like
Felix as an interior designer.

Felix was ready,
he had told him multiple times.

Should they get married
as a sign to start trying?

Was it better to have a baby
after a marriage?

But was Changbin even
ready to get married?

If someone would ask him if he
truly loved Felix, if he'd want to
stay by the younger's side his
whole life, he'd say yes
without hesitation.

Felix was his daily morning coffee,
his warm shower on hard days and
the sunshine making him keep
growing and thriving.

He couldn't imagine a life without
the freckled boy anymore.

And they weren't getting younger
either, Changbin would turn
thirty in a few months.

But all of this only added to the
storm raging in the ravenette's
mind because if he would be
ready, he wouldn't have all these
thoughts messing with him, right?

"Binnie."

A soft voice interrupted his train
of thoughts and before he could
even comprehend what he was
seeing, he already felt his
knees grow weak.

His Lixie stood there with the
most blinding sunshine smile on
his face as he rocked Jisung's and
Minho's tiny son in his arms,
unshed tears glistening in his eyes.

"He's so cute, isn't he?"

Felix whispered when he returned
his gaze back to the baby in his
arms and gently caressed the
tiny boy's chubby cheek.

Akemi stared back at his beautiful
uncle, blinking his big feline eyes
in wonder and squeaked softly
when Felix tapped the tip of
his little button nose.

"He really is."

And the freckled boy immediately
rested his head against his
boyfriend's shoulder when
Changbin wrapped an arm
around the younger's waist.

"If he wouldn't look so much like Min,
I'd almost think he's your baby.
He's so calm. He didn't even
want to stay with his grandma."

Jisung chuckled when his best friend
looked at him with sparkling eyes.

But exactly when he mentioned it,
tiny Akemi began to whine and
kicked his little legs in protest.

Probably he realized that this
wasn't his mommy holding
him when Jisung spoke.

"Don't take it personally,
he sometimes even cries
when he's with me.
He's definitely a daddy's kid,
aren't you, bub?"

The brunette kissed his son's
head as he lifted him back in
his arms and cooed when the
little boy only sniffled softly
and buried his face in the crook
of his mommy's shoulder.

"He's still cute."

Hyunjin chuckled and patted
his boss's shoulder when Minho
gave him a smile.

He could see that the ravenette
was so whipped for his tiny son.

After experiencing the older's
excitement for his child for months,
it felt so great to see Minho and
Jisung with their baby now.

And in Hyunjin's opinion they
looked like the perfect little family.

Akemi was such a lucky child to
have such wonderful parents who
loved him endlessly and would do
anything to keep him safe and happy.

They all knew that as they watched
the little boy fall asleep in his
mommy's arms while his parents
watched him with fond eyes,
Minho's arms wrapped around
his husband's small waist and
his chin rested on the
younger's shoulder.

Akemi was such a lucky child,
he got the best family after all.
