I always dreamed of becoming a rank SSS adventurer, the highest and most prestigious rank in the world. There are only 95 people who got this prestigious rank throughout history, and I will become the 96th. Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by the stories of legendary adventurers who explored lands, fought the most fearsome monsters, and discovered the most ancient secrets. I wanted to be like them, to make my name known throughout the continents, and to earn the respect and admiration of everyone.

But I was born without any special talent or power. I was an orphan, a nobody, a street rat. I had no family, no friends, no future. I had nothing.

Until they came into my life.

They were my sisters, who shared my passion and ambition. They were not related to me by blood, but by bond. They were the ones who took me in, who cared for me, who loved me. Their names were Rei and Ashe. I met them when I was 14 years old, a young and naive adventurer who had no idea what the world had in store for him. Rei was 23, a fiery and fierce hunter who could hit any target from miles away. Ashe was 25, a calm and clever sorcerer who could conjure powerful spells. They were both beautiful, strong, and kind. They were both my sisters, I would be lying if I didn't admit to having a crush on them.

I started from the bottom, as rank F adventurer while my sisters were rank A, taking on the most trivial and mundane tasks. But we did not give up, we did not complain, we did not settle. We worked hard, we learned fast, we improved constantly. We climbed up the ranks, facing more dangers, more difficulties, more rewards. We made allies and enemies. We faced joy, sorrow, and pain.

I reached rank B as my sisters already reached rank S, the third highest rank, after 3 years of struggle and sacrifice. But we were not satisfied. We wanted to reach the top, the ultimate goal. We wanted to become rank SSS adventurers.

"(Y/n), behind you!" Ashe shouted as I turned around and saw a goblin lunging at me, ready to strike me.

I quickly reacted, blocking the goblin's attack with my sword. Then slashed at the goblin's neck, spilling blood and killing it. I immediately fell onto my knees as I gasping for air.

Ashe: "Are you okay?! Tell me if you're hurt, I will cure it..."

(Y/n): "I'm fine, I'm just tired that's all..."

I heard footsteps behind me. I looked behind and saw it was Rei, who was coming this way as she was reloading her rifle.

Rei: "Nice move, kid. You've gotten better even though it was just a weak goblin."

(Y/n): "Hey! At least I'm improving! Beside, I'm the only one in the team that uses a sword and doesn't have any abilities like you guys."

Rei: "Yeah, whatever. And don't forget to carry the ogre's head."

(Y/n): "I know, I know. Stop ordering me like a kid."

There is a lot of chaos involving around goblin recently. Multiple villages have been raided by goblins. Many properties have been destroyed and women have been kidnapped. The guild paid multiple parties like us, to do a extermination job against goblin. The payment was quite satisfying to say the least. Fortunately for us, we found a large goblin's lairs deep inside the forest and was successful to killed an ogre.
