Jungkook tried to let Jimin know about his feelings but everytime he tried, Jimin would threaten to take his own life.

And one day after one of those fights, Jimin locks himself up in his room.

Jimin had tried to initiate sex after the man asked for a break and Jungkook refused. Jimin started an emotional drama about Jungkook not loving him or liking his body. Jungkook still loved him and definitely loved the boy's body but Jungkook's love for the boy was not defined by or limited to sex. Jimin needed sex all the time for reassurance of Jungkook's love.

Jungkook was just in the living room, trying to cool himself down after the fight. After about 10 minutes and hearing no movements from Jimin, he knocks on the door to hear no response. Jungkook knew something was wrong and he breaks the door open only to see Jimin lying on the bed with a cut wrist

The doctors advised Jungkook to admit Jimin in a psychiatric ward but Jimin started crying and throwing temper tantrums, accusing Jungkook of wanting him gone. Jimin's painful cries were too much for Jungkook to bear, he could see that Jimin was scared of being alone and he begs the doctor to let him take Jimin home. He promised the doctor that he would take care of Jimin. He even started doing his work from home.

After a couple of days, Jimin is out of his brain fog and looks into what is bothering him. He has been taking counselling these days as well and some medications for his anxiety.

Jungkook had been taking care of the boy but Jimin could see there was no sparkle in Jungkook's eyes anymore - the man looked so tired and drained out. The smile he has on his face is fake and Jimin could see that. Jimin was hurting now seeing Jungkook unhappy

Jimin promises himself to get better for Jungkook

Jimin tries his best to get out of his insecurities but it wasn't easy as he thought it would be. He still got jealous when Jungkook's phone rang but now he didn't say anything and actually told Jungkook to invite his friends over.

Jimin was frustrated, irritated and feeling insecure seeing Jungkook genuinely laughing with his friends but he kept it to himself and didn't let it show. Jungkook really believed Jimin was getting better with the counselling and medications.

Jungkook goes on a camping trip with his friends for 4 days, after Jimin insists him to go. Jimin's neighbour Taehyung promises to take care of the boy while Jungkook was away. Jungkook didn't want to leave Jimin but he knew this was part of the healing process.

Jungkook calls Jimin whenever he could but for Jimin it was never enough. He had to scold himself and distract his mind from reaching for his phone to call Jungkook. Then one day Taehyung notices the fresh cuts on Jimin's wrist. Jimin started cutting his wrist, not deep, to prevent himself from calling Jungkook

"Please don't tell Jungkook... I promise I won't do this again..." Jimin cries

"... I'm sorry it's hard for me to stop these thoughts... I just want him to be happy.. happy with me..." Jimin sobs and Taehyung comforts him

Jimin wakes up to a worried Jungkook holding his hands

"Are you okay honey?"

Jimin frowns "Weren't you supposed to come after 2 days?"

"How can I stay there in peace when I know what you are upto? How could you Jimin?" Jungkook sobs caressing Jimin's wrist and Jimin knew Taehyung had informed the man

"I'm sorry... I just want you to be happy"

"And you think this will make me happy?" Jungkook looks at the boy with his red eyes

"I'm sorry..."

"I thought things were getting better..." Jungkook sighs

"I'm sorry... I was acting... I was trying to be better when I still feel these things.." Jimin sighs when he sees Jungkook looking down, whose tears were rolling down his cheeks. Jimin stares at the man for a while

"Let's take a break..."

Jungkook snaps his eyes at the boy "What?"

"I think we both need it. I know you suggested it before but now I understand what you meant.... I want to get better... better for you... better for us... I want us to be together in the future and for that we need to take a break now..." Jimin says, his throat dry but voice steady

Tears dropped from Jungkook's eyes but Jimin's confidence gave him hope - maybe it was for the best. Jimin understanding his problems and taking a step forward was the best start

Jimin checks in to a psychiatric ward and gets the required counseling and medication. Jungkook wanted to visit but he was allowed only one visit per week and one call of 30 mins per day. Those moments, the two cherished and that gave Jimin the motivation to get better soon so that he could reunite with his lover sooner.

It took 3 months for Jimin's mental state to get under control and 2 more months for the doctors to grant him that he was in the safe to discharge category.

Jimin's eyes fill up and his eyes disappear in his smile as he sees the tattooed man waiting for him outside the hospital with his favorite bouquet of flowers

Jimin wanted to jump into the other's arms but decided not to. Take it slow Jimin, take it slow.

"Thank you..." Jimin says taking the flowers "...thank you for being patient with me...thank you for waiting for me..."

"I missed you.. I don't want to wait anymore....." Jungkook pulls the boy into a hug "...I love you so much..."

A tear rolls down his cheeks, his head pressed against the man's chest "I love you too..."
