1. This book will contain profanity, some graphic violence/gore, and frequent depiction of firearms.
2. This is a gay romance, so obviously there will be LGBTQ+ characters.
3. This is not *technically* historical fiction. The world is more based in reality than my other books, but it is not meant to exactly resemble any specific location or time period on Earth.
4. Some of the breaks between chapter parts (i.e. 4.1 and 4.2) are a little awkward. I'm trying to keep parts at 1.5k-3.5k words so book club/review people don't have to read 5,000-word monstrosities, but it occasionally means breaking a chapter in an awkward place.
5. I update once or twice a millennium. I do plan to finish this book, but it will probably be a looong time in the making. I would love it if you read anyway, but I understand if it takes too damn long between updates and you lose interest. Hopefully you can come back when it's complete.
