A New Beginning Continued (First part by @evanenjoyers)

16.

Evan had finally been released from the hospital and he was doing quite well. His family was glad, even Gregory was highly relieved that his friend was healing well.

[The Next Day, 5:32 AM]

Gregory was in a deep sleep right next to Evan in his bed, since there were no extra bedrooms. Evan was also asleep, he wasn't sleeping as well as Gregory was. Evan was rolling around in his sleep and he was shaking. Gregory woke up when he felt Evan's movement. He looked over to him and had a concerned look on his face. "Evan, are you okay?" He said quietly. Evan didn't respond, he was still asleep. "Aw... probably a nightmare..." Gregory wrapped his arms around Evan gently in an attempt to comfort him in his sleep. Evan stopped shivering and buried his body into Gregory's, which made Gregory smile. "There... now get some more sleep... you need it..." Gregory said quietly and started drifting back to sleep himself.

[A few hours later, 8:45 AM]

Evan woke up slowly and looked over at Gregory. He still had his arms wrapped around Evan in a comforting way. Evan smiled and sighed deeply as he stared at the ceiling, still cuddled up next to his friend. "Hmm... What is today again?" Evan said to himself, he could of sworn something was going on today... "That's right! It's Charlie's Birthday!" Evan yelled excitedly, right as he yelled his thoughts out loud, Charlie bursted into the room. (Charlie had stayed at the Afton's house for the night, she volunteered to sleep on the couch so she could watch TV before bed.) "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" She yelled loudly with a joyful tone. "I know! I am so excited for your party, cuz!" (They weren't actually cousins, just called eachother that.) "Is your friend really still asleep?!" Charlie said in a surprised, annoyed tone as she looked over at Gregory. "Not for long..." Evan said as he giggled. Evan started to tickle Gregory's side and Gregory's eyes went wide open and he started laughing. "H-hey! Stooopp ittt!" Gregory said as he was still laughing and squirming around. "Then get up and get ready for the partyyy!" Evan said as he stopped tickling Gregory. "Okay, okay."

[Some time later, 10:05 AM]

Evan, Charlie, and Elizabeth sat on the couch smiling and talking about what they were gonna do at Charlie's Birthday Party. Gregory came out of the bathroom from brushing his teeth and sat on the couch next to them. "Finally you are ready!" Elizabeth said in a jokingly annoyed tone. "Yeah, yeah. I didn't take that long." Gregory said with a giggle. William was making breakfast in the kitchen. "What time is the party, Charlie?" Gregory said curiously. He was actually excited, even though he didn't really know Charlie that well. "Oh, it's at 2:00!" She said cheerfully. "Okay, so a little less than 4 hours." He said as he looked at his Fazwatch, which said "10:12". William walked into the room, grinning. "Breakfast is ready. Charlie, I made a special birthday breakfast for you!" He said in a joyful tone. "Yay!" Charlie said with a wide smile. "After breakfast, we will drive to uncle Henry's house and pick him up so we can all drive to Freddy's and set up the party area." William said on a calm and happy tone. All of the kids ran into the kitchen to eat quickly, since they were all hyped for the party.

Another chapter complete! It was kind of a filler of what is happening after the Afton's and Gregory being in the hospital after the car crash incident. Next chapter will be more eventful, thanks for reading! ✌️
