Evan woke up and saw Charlie. "Charlie! You're here!" He said excitedly. "Oh— Evan! You're awake!" She beamed, climbing on Evan's hospital bed, making sure to be gentle. "Are you feeling better?" Evan nodded in response, making Charlie smile widely. "My party's this weekend, you know! You'll make it, right?" She asked him excitedly. "Yeah. I hope so. Look, I can walk better now." Evan said, getting up. Micheal quickly ran over to give him a hand, but Evan declined. "Look!" He said, walking around. Everyone clapped, making Evan smile.
I will continue the story from here in the next chapter. I hope everyone will enjoy the upcoming continuation as much as the first part of the fanfic.
