Chapter 5

Selecia's pov
I just dropped Shawn off at the airport watching him leave was the hardest thing to do but I know whatever he's got planned I'm gonna love. I pull out of the airport parking lot and head home. I get there and I walk in and I see Colby getting some water.

S- he's gone
C- he'll be back
S- I know, how do you do it how are you so okay with being away from Roxy
C- I'm not okay with it, I just know I'm always gonna come back and she'll be there waiting.
S- I like that *smiles* I'm gonna be upstairs if you need me.
C- okay

I head upstairs and change into one of Shawn's shirts and a pair of shorts and I sit on the bed and watch tv.

Shawn's pov(In la)
I just landed in la and I andrews picking me, I grab my luggage and head to where he's parked and I get in.

A- hey Shawn what's up
Sh- nothing just kinda bummed
A- leaving selecia huh?
Sh- yea she was a mess when I told her
A- can you blame her though?! You guys haven't been apart since before you guys ran into each other again of course she's gonna be little scared
Sh- oh my god, she's not fine
A- what do you mean?
Sh- this morning when I asked her if she was okay she said she was fine but I think what you just said could be what's bothering her thinks I'm gonna leave and not come back again
A- maybe or she's just scared because you're leaving not because she thinks you won't come back.
Sh- true

We head to my apartment and we head in and I grab my notebook, and we head to the studio.

*skip to them at the studio*
Sh- if we don't love like we used to, If we don't care we used too, what the hell are we dying for.
I sing into the mic, once I'm finished I exist the studio and find Andrew on the phone.

A- he's fine he's right here
Sh- is that selecia?
A- yea it is *laughs* you're not answering her so she got worried
Sh- awe tell her there's no need to be worried I'm fine and alive.
A- you hear that?
S(on the phone)- I did *laughs* thanks Andrew
A- no problem and you still want me to send you that information right?
S- yes please
A- alright I got you, I'll send it right now
S- thanks Andrew bye

Sh- information for what?
A- stuff for her being an independent artist all the stuff she should know and all that
Sh- so it's happening?
A- yea, I'm sending the contract home with you and all she has to do is sign it and send it back
Sh- thanks Andrew for helping her
A- no problem *smiles* you really love this girl huh?
Sh- yea I have since high school I just lost sight of that with Camila and now that I have it back I don't wanna lose it
A- don't, she's a great girl
Sh- I won't

We leave the studio and I grab some food on the way home, when I see Camila, so I walk over.

Sh- hey Mila what's up
Ca- hey Shawn, wow you look happy
Sh- that's because I am *smiles* what's got you down?
Ca- life, it's like everywhere I turn is the wrong direction
Sh- it's okay, that's how life works you gotta do the wrong direction sometimes so you can find the right path
Ca- thanks Shawn so how are you? Did you find that girl you were always talking about?
Sh- I did and we're getting married
Ca- awe congratulations, I'm so happy for you
Sh- thanks, I'm here to get her a dog, not just any dog the dogs she's always wanted
Ca- awe shes gonna love you, wait you don't live here anymore?
Sh- eh not really we moved back to Canada I bought the house I told you we used to sneak into and throw parties
Ca- aweee that's great Shawn and here I am with my life falling apart
Sh- your life isn't falling apart Camila you just hit a few bumps in the road, now all you gotta is show those bumps who's boss
Ca- thanks Shawn *smiles*
Sh- no problem Camila
Ca- soooooo tell me about this girl of yours
Sh- she amazing, she's beautiful, she's the best thing that ever happened to be aside from you *laughs*
Ca- it's okay I'll let her have this one *laughs*
Sh- oh she's calling me now
I say looking at my phone.

Sh- yes beautiful?
S- how's la?
Sh- hot *laughs* guess who I ran into?
S- who?
Sh- Camila
S- oh well how she doing
Ca- well not so hot right now but I mean I'll get through
S- oh shit your there with her now wow okay *laughs* hi Camila and I'm sorry your not doing to good but a friend once told me that in the end it's okay, and if not okay it's not the end, so you pick yourself up tell yourself you got this and you keep going because life isn't easy and it's not fair at times and if it was then we'd be bored
Ca- thank you so much that's so sweet of you
S- no problem, and Incase Shawn forgot to tell you my name because he doesn't that a lot and then people end up calling me that girl *laughs* it's selecia
Ca- wow what a beautiful name and im so sorry for calling you that girl *laughs*
S- it's an honor to be called that girl by you *laughs* I love you're music and I know it's weird for Shawn so I just listen to it when he's not home or with my headphones in.
Sh- not weird for me she just thinks it is
S- hmmm sure *laughs* anyways I just called to see how you were doing
Sh- I'm doing good
Ca- I'm better after talking to both of you
S- well that's good Camila and have Shawn give my number, if you ever wanna talk just call me
Ca- alright thank you
S- no problem, bye babe be safe
Sh- I will and bye beautiful

She hangs up and I say bye to Camila and I head home.

I arrive home and I sit down and eat.

Selecia's pov
"Got a long list of ex lovers they'll tell you I'm insane" I sing along with Taylor as I straighten up the room.
C- SESE!!
I pause my music and head downstairs to see what Colby wants
S- what dude?
C- I need your help picking Roxy's anniversary gift
S- ouuuuu okay
I sit next to him on the couch and he shows me his phone, to reveal an engagement ring
S- Colby are you proposing to her?
C- maybe
S- aweeee *smiles* I think you should go for it
C- really?
S- yea but you better not have your wedding the same time as me and Shawn I'll have to fight you
C- never *laughs*
S- good *laughs* cause I don't wanna have to fight you
C- awh you don't man I was looking forward to it
S- *laughs* your strange man
C- yea I know, well since your down here wanna watch a movie?
S- sure

We pick a movie and we watch it and then after the movie we head to bed.
