|TW: Death|
The room all around was dark, eerie. In the corner, there was a flickering night light.
From the faintest light, a young boy who lay with hand made shackles and a blindfold that smelt like gasoline. He was tied into a chair., arms behind his back. The boy's mouth was covered with mounds of duct tape. His fluffy ashy-blonde hair matted with tangles, blood splattered throughout the thick strands. He longed for the pain to end but would it happen?
Two masked men who he didn't know stood beside him. One wore his dark baggy sweatshirt sleeves over his wrists, showing off a well drawn out tribal wolf tattoo. The sign of a gang.
The other stood stoically with dried blood on his knuckles. He looked like a real serial killer. Maybe in this case, he quite possibly could be.
Collier Snyder was the boy's name.
The man with the tattoo grabbed Collier's chin forcefully. He gestured for the boy to look at him.
"I'm taking the tape off your mouth. Don't scream or cry, or there will be consequences." Collier made no noise. He gave up screaming for help, fighting with two grown men he couldn't compete with. He learned to cooperate with them or else the beatings got worse.
Collier didn't understand why the men took him away from his mom. His mom only spoke bad about two people. One, being his father. Luckily, from all the things she spoke about, Collier never met the man and he was grateful for it.
The man gave his chair a swift kick. His chair folded, that was the last hit it could take.
For Collier, they weren't done.
"Why do you guys want me so badly? Could you just kill me already?" At least he had his spunky attitude still.
Collier, caught off by another kick, coughed loudly. Blood continued to spew from his mouth.
He was ready to die. He needed to so his mom could at least find a bit of peace rather just sitting around with hope.
"Silent," the man commanded.
Moving Collier by the hair, slamming him to the wall. All his punches connecting, Collier knew his time was near.
"We don't exactly need you anymore. So, we can just do that."
The last punch Collier received, he felt weightless. He was free.
