I think I'm inlove

A/N- Not a whole lot of ashxgladion, but more gladion and his mom. Gladion goes to the pokemon school.

Today was a simple day, nothing new happened, Ash and Gladion spent their time together at school before going to hangout.

Now they said there goodbyes and both headed home to have dinner. Gladion we having dinner with his mother because Lillie was having a sleepover with all the girls at Mallow's.

Gladion was deep in thought while having a simple dinner with his mom sitting next to him. He was just eating but he could feel the heavy look his mother was giving him since he sat on that chair.

It's not like it bothers or annoys him, he just doesn't like worrying his mother over simple things.

"Is everything okay?" Finally asked his mother.

"Yeah" he simply answered, he wasn't lying he was really okay, he just didn't know how to start the conversation he wanted to.

"You seem lost in your thoughts..." Sais his mother worried overthinking the short answer of her son."Mother, I think I'm in love" said Gladion out of nowhere since he didn't know how to start.

Lusimane gave him a surprise look before smiling and asking him "Who's this lucky person you fell for?"

"Well...I don't know if you...I mean it's a guy not a girl so-"

"Hey Gladion" stopped his mother "it's okay you don't have to justify yourself, it's totally normal to like guys or girls or both nothing is wrong okay?"

Gladion took a deep breath before standing up to hug his mother, he really needed those words because he felt like he was doing something wrong.

Surprised because her son isn't the type of person giving physical affection, she hugged him back tightly with a big supportive smile.

"So... who's the lucky person?" She asked again after Gladion set back on his chair.

"Uhm...it's Ash" the blonde haired answered blushing.

Because yeah, Gladion was in love with his best friend, Ash, because even if the day he spent looks simple for him it's not since he meets Ash's beautiful eyes and sparkling smile.

Ash can make his day even if he thinks that he can't smile anymore. Gladion was happy with Ash.

Ash was Gladion's  happiness.

"Oh, it's ash, the one who helped right?" His mom asked after a few seconds trying to remember who's the 'lucky person'

Gladion nodded, happy his mother didn't forget who was Ash.

"I'm not that surprised not gonna lie..."The blonde haired looked at her frowning, not understanding the meaning of what she just said.

"I mean, when you're with him you smile so much, and ive seen the way you've looked at him" she answered him "and I'm very happy for you cause I'm sure it's reciprocal"

"What do you mean by reciprocal?" Asked Gladion confused, trying to ignore the first part of what his mom said because he didn't want to blush more than what he's blushing right now.

"I don't really know him I just know that the way he looks at you isn't a normal way people look at their best friend" Lusimane shrugged.

"MOM" Gladiom exclaimed; his cheeks red as magicarp.

"What? Am I lying?" Said his mom with a winning smile knowing that she's spilling the truth.

Before Gladion could say anything, his phone vibrated in his pocket, he saw a message from Ash and automatically smiled.

"Cute ~ I bet it's Ash" said his mom watching her son being totally in love.

"MOM PLEASE"
